Chapter 18 Young Master Yonng
Sawyer came out of the conference room, followed by a beautiful secretary wearing glasses, who was holding a pile of documents in her arms. Her cherry lips open and closed, quickly reporting the day's schedule: "Mr. Yonng, you need to meet with President Black of East Company to talk about the new area development project at nine o'clock, and ten o'clock ..."
"Postpone all the agenda for now. I am going to meet a friend."
"But..."
The secretary looked pale and wanted to say something.
But before she could say anything, Sawyer quickened his pace and walked into the office.
BANG!
Outside the door, the secretary looked startled.
After a long moment, she turned to the little sister in charge of reception next to her and asked, "Who's here today?"
"Mr. Macadam."
The little sister covered her mouth with her hand and said in a low voice.
So it was him.
No wonder Mr. Yonng had put off such an important trip.
Sophia sat on the sofa, and she was a little drowsy. After eating last night, she was energized, so she searched for a Korean drama online and saw it late before falling asleep. This morning she didn't feel anything when she got up, but now when she was quietly sitting on the sofa waiting for Sawyer, she was quite sleepy.
Her eyelids were getting closer and closer and she consciousness was about to fall asleep.
And just as she was about to fall asleep, there was a sudden bang at the door.
She was shocked and subconsciously stood up from the sofa.
She stood up too fast, and her calf inadvertently bumped into the coffee table placed next. The pain made her face crumpled together. She was about to scream, but when she saw Tyrone, she tried to keep silent.
When Tyrone heard the sound, he turned his head.
Seeing her covering her calf, he pondered a little and understood what was going on. And his thin lips pursed slightly.
"Why are you so careless?"
Sophia was teary-eyed and looked at him pitifully, "I, I didn't mean it..."
She was wearing jeans today and he couldn't see any specific injuries.
But from the look on her face, it should have been a bad bump.
Tyrone's eyebrows were knitted together.
Sophia thought that she had upset him by acting so stupidly, so she even put down her hand, stood properly, and said in a low voice: " I'm sorry, Little Uncle."
"You don't have to say sorry to me. Does it hurt?"
Tyrone asked in a clear and cold voice.
"It doesn't hurt."
It still hurt, but she was just afraid of him and wouldn't dare to say it.
"Ahem..."
A soft cough sounded, interrupting the conversation between the two.
Sophia turned her head to look over, only to see a handsome face that could eclipse the moonlight. She was dumbfounded. This man was too beautiful. Even after seeing a face as clear and peerless as Tyrone's, she still couldn't help but marvel at this man's appearance again.
She stared at him without turning her gaze.
A pleasant and teasing voice sounded in the air, "Tyrone, why is this child just like Dorothy? When she sees someone with good appearance, she was absent-minded!"
Gah?
The beautiful image instantly shattered into crumbs, and Sophia came back to her senses, only to see the man's lips curved in an evil smile. His eyes were full of mischief as he looked at her.
"Are you talking about me?" Sophia pointed at herself for confirmation.
The man had a shallow smile on his face, "If I am not talking about you, am I talking about myself?"
Sophia: "...."
"Alright, stop joking around." Tyrone spoke out, pointing at the man and introducing him, "Sophia, this is Sawyer."
"Hello, Uncle Sawyer."
Sophia greeted him with a fake smile.
Sawyer waved his hand, "Don't call me that. I'm not much older than you. I remember you're eighteen this year, right? It's better to call me Sawyer, or Brother Sawyer."
Sophia chose the former without hesitation.
