Chapter 17 She's addicted to him
When they finished washing up and walked to the first floor, Tina had prepared them delicious breakfast.
Sophia ate while watching TV.
It was broadcasting the news of the Macadam Group's acquisition of East Wind Gasoline Company. She watched with great interest. Although she didn't have contact with her grandfather's family for so many years, it didn't mean that she didn't pay attention to everything about the Macadam Family.
The news reports were exactly an important way for her to know more about the Macadam Family.
Searching for news about the Macadam Family every morning had become a habit for her.
Sophia bit the spoon, secretly admiring her grandfather was not less powerful than that year. The TV screen suddenly turned black. She turned her head to see Tyrone who sat next to her. He put down the TV remote control, and slowly picked up a white napkin to wipe his cold lips. It was a simple action, but he did it with elegance and nobility.
Tyrone said coldly, "When you are eating, you should pay attention to your meal. Don't distract your attention."
This handsome uncle was tedious. If she had a meal while not watching TV, what fun was there in life?
But Sophia still agreed and pretended to eat obediently.
But at the moment he got up to leave, she secretly grimaced.
Tyrone thought of something and turned back to look at her suddenly.
Sophia didn't have time to change her expression, and the muscles on her face stiffened for a moment. She looked embarrassed and her expression was amusing to the extreme. Tyrone looked at her calmly for a few seconds, and his eyebrows narrowed slightly. But in the end, he did not say anything reproachful: "You need a copy of Work?"
"Yes."
Sophia lowered her hand and adjusted her facial expression, nodding.
"Come with me to meet someone later. I'll have him arrange a job for you."
"Huh?"
Sophia hadn't understood what he meant by that.
He was already walking towards the outside.
Getting into the car, Sophia's hand tugged at the seatbelt of the passenger seat and she clicked on the buckle, "Little Uncle, who are we going to meet?"
"Sawyer, Jim Yong's son. You should know him." Tyrone started the car.
Of course, Sophia knew Sawyer.
The Yonng Family and the Macadam Family had always been good friends, especially in her grandfather's generation. They were as close as brothers. Sawyer was the only son adopted by the old man of the Yonng Family. And even though he was adopted, he was no different from Jim's real kids. The wife of the Yonng Family couldn't have children, and the old man didn't want to have children with another woman to wrong her, so he adopted a son and a daughter. They were all raised as if they were their biological children.
When she was young, she had met Sawyer before.
But at that time, Sawyer was not much older than her. Both of them were little kids, so they didn't have any deep impression.
She guessed she wouldn't be able to recognize him even if she saw him later.
Sophia finished searching her mind for information about Sawyer, and when she pulled back her thoughts, she glanced at Tyrone's handsome and serious face. She paused. After that, there was no way to look away from him, so she stared at him like she was addicted to him.
When he looked at her again, their eyes unexpectedly collided with each other.
Sophia was startled and turned her eyes in embarrassment to look out the car window.
"What were you thinking just now?"
"No, nothing...just thinking about what kind of person Uncle Sawyer would be."
Sophia's clenched hand sweated, and her heart thumped wildly. Her face in front of the mirror reddened at a rate visible to the naked eye.
"He acts in a rather hostile and flamboyant style and doesn't like to follow common sense, but he's a good guy. You don't need to be afraid of him. You can just treat him in the way how you treat me."
Tyrone explained indifferently.
"Well, I know."
Hearing his unhurried voice, Sophia's panicked heart gradually settled down.
