Chapter 13 As Long as You Die
Being put in a friend zone, Faye's fiancé flew into a rage. He clenched his fists, but he didn't hit Faye but Benjamin!
This paramour not only explained nothing but watched everything mockingly, which was very irritating!
The young man cursed. When his fist was only a few centimeters away from Benjamin's nose, his calves were struck by a guard's stick.
Bang!
He knelt in front of Benjamin, embarrassed and dispirited. What a humiliating scene!
But the man his fiancée cared about first was not him!
At this moment, Faye took Benjamin's arm with a worried look. Nelly was amused by the scene.
"This lady, the one whose legs are almost broken is right before you? Are you blind or something? Why can't you see him?" Nelly thought.
The bodyguards held the man's hands back. "Sir, shall we take him to the police station?"
"This is too much, isn't it?"
But Nelly found Benjamin was staring at the man's distorted face with his thin lips pressed together. It seemed that he really planned to do so.
He was such a wolf! What did he dare not do?
Nelly felt quite sympathetic for Faye's fiancé who, in a sense, was in the same boat with her.
"What about giving him a chance, Mr. Longman? There's a reason for him to get angry. Now that Miss Lee has made everything clear to him, I believe he will figure it out after going home."
Benjamin was enraged by her intercession for the man, his blue veins standing out on his temples. At this moment, he looked just like a complete tyrant.
Annoyed.
He adjusted his tie at first, but in the next second, he pulled it off his neck and threw it onto the sofa directly.
He didn't like Nelly to intercede for any other men, especially someone who had almost beaten him just now.
Nelly didn't know what this fiery man was thinking about, or she wouldn't add fuel to fire. "Besides, Miss Lee is here, and this sir is her friend. We don't need to make this thing big."
While Benjamin remained silent with a cold face, Faye said with displeasure, "He made trouble in the company and even hit Mr. Longman! Taking him to the police station is still too good for him."
Then, she turned to Benjamin, hasting to show her loyalty. "Mr. Longman, you don't need to care about my feelings. No matter what happens, I'll always stand by your side."
As such, Benjamin really waved his hand. Receiving his order, two strong guards dragged the red-eyed man out of the door. When he passed Nelly, he whispered, "Thank you."
His gratitude made Nelly feel that Benjamin was even more merciless.
After sending Faye out with an excuse, Benjamin gestured to Jessie to close the door. Then, he approached Nelly.
"He's gone. You haven't seen him enough?" He stared at her intensely and said in a sarcastic way, "Someone wanted to hurt your husband, but you cared about that man! Nelly Jones, well done!"
"You are not injured, are you? Besides, even if you are hurt, it's not my turn to care about you. Many women will do this for you."
Her even colder tone suddenly ignited his anger!
He turned her face to him, forcing her to look into his eyes. "It sounds like you're disappointed that I'm not injured."
A wave of fatigue hit her heart. "Benjamin, why must you assume the worst in people? If, I mean, if your beloved woman snuggles up to another man, what will you do?"
"I'll kill him!" he blurted out without hesitation!
Noticing his fleeting hostility, she tried to reason with him, "It's reasonable for Faye's fiancé to give you a blow. You not only robbed him of his fiancée but also sent him to the police station. Don't you think you're too cold-blooded?"
"I'm too cold-blooded?" He fixed his eyes tightly on hers. "Nelly, you're no better than me. To occupy me, you robbed Kay of her happiness! Now you're telling me how to behave morally? When you made Kay crash her car, why didn't you think about whether you were cold-blooded?"
Nelly felt terribly hurt on her jaw in his hand, but she tried her best to flatten her voice. "I've explained many times to you about the car accident..."
He interrupted, "No matter how many times you say, I only believe what I saw. Nelly, I won't be fooled by you!"
"What should I do to satisfy you?" Nelly looked at him accusingly.
"As long as you die!"
