Chapter 23 I want to be with you, just the two of us
Sophia muttered and reached out to hug the man's waist, "Don't be with another woman, okay? I don't like it when you're with her.."
Sawyer's handsome eyes lightly closed and his arm casually hooked, hugging the crooked person, "Then who do you want me to be with?"
"I want to be with you, just the two of us." Sophia's voice gradually lowered, almost inaudible. And her cheeks pressed against his chest, as if she was asleep.
The smile on the corner of Sawyer's mouth dissipated. His eyes were clouded with a layer of mist. He hugged her for a moment, silently picking her up and turning to leave, but when he looked at the doorway, his footsteps faltered.
He did not know when Tyrone stood them. He gazed at them silently.
Sawyer paused for two seconds, smiled as if nothing had happened, and said, "You're just in time. This girl is drunk, and I was just about to take her to a private room to rest! Now you take care of her, I'll go find some relief soup for her."
Tyrone took the person over and looked at the drunken cat-like Sophia. His look was filled with faint displeasure, "Sawyer, Sophia is still a girl. I don't want you to hurt her."
Sawyer smiled, "Don't worry. I'm not interested in little girls who are not fully developed. Rather, you, a man of thirty should also pay attention to the distance between you and the little girl. Don't let her misunderstand you."
After saying that, he didn't wait for Tyrone to reply.
He took a step and quickly left.
Tyrone's face was slightly pale as he took Sophia's waist and helped her to sit down on the sofa.
Not long after, the maid took the sobering soup, and Tyrone carefully fed her to drink.
In case she was not safe to sit here alone, he did not leave, but patiently waited for her to sober up.
The night breeze blew. Sophia opened her eyes, only to feel a headache. And then she took a closer look and saw that Tyrone was sitting beside her. Her face was slightly stiff, "Little Uncle, what are you doing here?"
"If I'm not here, where else can I be?"
Tyrone asked rhetorically.
"You can stay with your girlfriend." Realizing that she spoke in a bad tone, Sophia eased her voice, "I just saw you dancing with a beautiful woman. And I thought you were a couple."
Tyrone opened his mouth, trying to explain, but just then, a soft female voice sounded, "Tyrone, so you're hiding here. No wonder I couldn't find you anywhere."
Sophia raised her eyes and saw the girl standing in front of her... the girl wearing a red dress and a diamond necklace was the one who had just danced with Tyrone.
A strong feeling of discomfort surged out of her heart. Sophia lowered her eyes, and her hand clasped the sofa tightly.
The girl walked up to Tyrone. Only then did she notice Sophia sitting next to him, and she asked hesitantly, "Tyrone, this is..."
"Sophia, Dorothy's daughter."
"So you're Sophia. Tyrone has told me about you many times." The girl smiled sweetly and said in a friendly manner, "I'm Joanna Sterling. My daddy is Abraham Sterling. We have met when we were young. It's nice to see you again."
The old friend was reunited, but Sophia was not happy at all.
She only felt that the hand of the girl on Tyrone's shoulder was extraordinarily dazzling.
She had the urge to get up and leave immediately.
But taking into account that Tyrone was beside her, she sullenly greeted her, "Hello, Miss Sterling."
Jonna extended her hand, "Why are you so polite? You can just call me Joanna."
Sophia pursed her lips and didn't speak, nor did she go to shake hands with her.
Joanna was frozen there and looked at Tyrone at a loss for words.
"She just drank a lot of wine. She's not feeling well and doesn't want to take care of others. So don't take it seriously." Tyrone said indifferently.
"It's okay. Let her rest well." Joanna didn't take it seriously, "Tyrone, just now I saw Yilia looking for you. Do you want to go over and take a look?"
Tyrone looked at Sophia beside him, somewhat unsure.
Joanna said understandingly, "Tyrone, don't worry. I'll stay here with her."
"Fine, trouble you." Tyrone turned around and asked Sophia, "Wait for me here. I will be back soon."
The moment he got up, Sophia subconsciously grabbed his hand, "Don't leave."
Tyrone's body paused, then he pulled her hand away and gently touched her soft hair, "Be obedient. Don't make a scene."
