Sham sat at the couch with an ice cream jar. She looked exhausted and helpless. She had never felt such a feeling before. A feeling she couldn't explain or should she say her fiancee dumped her and after finding a rebound and when she thinks of taking a chance with her rebound she just finds out she's been fooled. She deeped her spoon into the jar and stuffed her mouth. The coldness of the ice cream made her feel better she didn't know how but it's was way better than wisky. She groaned as tears fell down her eyes. Why was she crying so bitterly about Amal's lies, she hadn't fallen in love with him yet, or did she. The thought of that made her groan even more because her mouth was stuffed and cold. She felt shattered like everything was falling apart. Suddenly her phone rang and when she looked at it it was Amal, she just kept staring at the phone. Her mind was full of thoughts all kinds of thoughts. "Hey Sham I know you don't want to pick up my calls but please if you hear this message I need you to just hear me out please Sham." The voice mail from Amal echoed through her phone. "Imbecile." She cursed beneath her breath and digged even deeper into the ice cream jar. After a few minutes there was a knock at the door. She stared at the door handle. Her eyes were swollen beyond measure, she had already developed a running nose due to crying too much. "Who is it." She asked but no one replied. "If it's you Amal just turn and leave I don't want to hear any of your words. I don't want to be deceived by you again." She shouted louder. She was drunk, not drunk from alcohol but drunk from crying, exhaustion, ice cream coldness and wierd thoughts. The knock was still persistent and she just couldn't bare it anymore. She strolled to the door and opened it. Without hesitation Amal walked in, he knew if he would have stayed longer at the door she would shut it on his face. "Sham I'm sorry, please don't do this to me Sham." He said as he went down on his knees. Sham was suprised, she felt happy at least her rebound has the guts to kneel and beg for forgiveness not like her fiancee who just walked away and married another woman. "Get the hell out of my house Amal." She said looking weak. "Are you drunk?" He asked still kneeling.

"Hell no, I'm just tired." She rolled her eyes. He then looked around and spotted the ice cream jar. "I've cream?" He asked. "None of your damn business now just go Amal I don't want to see you." She said as tears kept falling from her eyes. "Sham I didn't tell you all that because I'm starting a new life, I was to have a new life with you and I don't want my past to dictate who I am please listen." He said. Sham walked away, she wasn't ready for all that explanation that seemed like lies. Everything about Amal is a lie, she kept thinking.
