One week later

"Sir, Ben's here to see you " Charlotte's voice echoed from the other side of the telephone as Amal sat on his desk busy working on some few documents. "Let him in Charlotte." He said then placed the telephone back. He knew Ben was here to book the hotel as a venue for his' company's annual general meeting party. Actually the company was Amal's too. He wanted a party this time and he had plans of inviting all his staff and he knew Sham would be there that day how would he dare miss such. Sham hadn't made it clear to him yet if she loved him back or not but that never bothered Amal. The good sex he had received that week something he had never ever had or thought for the last 5 years made him feel like she loved her back and if not he was ready to wait till she heals. He knew healing is a process and he was ready to wait till she feels better and stronger. Sham was worth the wait. The one week with Sham though made him realize he loved Sham more than he loved Sophia and he just felt happy about it after all Sophia was a mistake, a mistake he had made to himself and every passing day he wanted to just forget about all that and Sham was the answer. Sham made him forget his past, his present, his everything. She made him forget the mistakes he had made in his life, and he loved it, he just loved how she twisted his thoughts and that one week felt like a vacation in wonderland. The office door swang open and Ben walked in. "Dude, I've been looking for you the whole last week, I have already circulated a memo of the party. We need to plan it, it's two weeks from now." Ben said offering himself a seat. "I know I was busy somewhere." Amal said smiling. Ben narrowed his eyes to look at him. "That look...mmh." He said moving close as if to tell him a secret. "The last time I checked my accountant was not in office for the past week and I received a letter from the doctor she'll be out for a week. The same week someone was not in office. Should I ask?"

"Don't mention it dude." Amal said shying away. "Whatever you are thinking happened.." Amal added. Ben's eyes widened and his mouth opened slowly. "You had sex with her!" He said in a lower but suprised voice. "Amh...yeah, Ben this girl means the world to me, she's just amazing....fantastic. Men I'll die for her I swear." Amal said looking all excited. "Men! That's good at least she has finally made you have orgasms after a five year dry spell dude that's good for you, so you guys are a thing now?"

"Not yet, she needs time to heal from Dennis guy." Ben shook Amal's hands and smiled. "Anyway so I called Marcus and he said he'll take care of the drinks now the venue is what's remaining, I have hired a team of event organisers to take care of that."

"It's fine I have no problem with that the venue is set. I'll just have to book the date to clear all events that day."

"Okay then..It's fine then?"

"Yeah." Amal said smiling
