Chapter 20 - Sham
Sham laid on Amal's chest and she felt his warmth. She could not resist him, he was charming and she was getting attracted to him. But she didn't want this to just take away her mind. She had to be careful about loving somebody, a man again, she had to be certain and she felt having a baby would be better. His warmth made her feel protected, she always felt that way with him ever since the bar incident. He seemed like a genuine man, had no stupid sexual desires. She was laying on his chest and all he did was just put an arm around her waist and lay still. He was a gentleman, the type of man she wanted to have. She had never felt such ease in her life and like what she felt with Amal. What she felt was peace and love and quite moments to meditate about life and how she wanted to live it. That not even her five ex-boyfriends ever gave her. "You like this place?" Amal asked breaking the silence. "Yeah, it's so nice than I ever thought it would be, I love it." She answered smiling. His breath was just slow and deep. "Their are only two women who have been in this house, well actually three." He said then went silent for a while as if waiting for response. "Who?"
"My mum, my ex-wife and you and two of the women have slept on this bed, that's you and my ex-wife." He said. Sham raised her head and looked at him. She felt like kissing his lips, they were so kissable. She thought but she had to control herself. "Ooh, your ex-wife died 5 years ago..but why didn't you get a girlfriend to cheer you up at least, if you ask me you are too cute to be alone." She said then turned to face him. "She died in a very bad circumstance and I don't want to remember..plus when she died I never wanted to be associated with women, I just fixed myself to work like a dog at least to get her memories out." He said looking back at her. 'Oooh so he was not a womanizer.' she thought. She felt like she just wanted to be with Amal, but she was not in a rush she had to play cool. "Until I met someone, somewhere and she just left a mark that no one ever did and I realized that I had healed completely and I'm able to love again." He said. She knew it was her he was talking about but she had to be sure. "Who?"
"You, that day at the hotel changed my life Sham, I saw you once and the picture of you stuck into my brains and I just couldn't let you out of my mind." He said. Sham shyed, she had never ever had such a compliment about her. She looked down and laid her head back to his chest without a word. What does she have to say? "Then I met you at the bar and you just gave me a clear picture of your life and how you felt miserable, to be honest I was happy, Dennis left you because I want to get a chance with you Sham." He said. Sham remained silent trying to figure out what to say, "I love you more than you could ever imagine, your spark on me is more than that of my ex-wife and I've never imagined myself falling in love like this. I want you Sham." He went on saying. Sham raised her head to look at him. Her eyebrows rose and he didn't know what she thought. So he bent his head to kiss her and Sham couldn't resist the charm this man had for her. She kissed him back, passionately and they slid tongues and the taste of mint filled her mouth "I love you Sham, I love you more than I have ever loved any woman in the whole damn world." He said looking at her. Sham shyed she didn't want to put herself in a dilemma, so she just remained silent. Amal kissed her again and they made love that night
