Chapter 42 Just be good. I'm not mean to you

His voice was so low that Sage doubted whether her listening was good or not.

Ellison Davis closed his eyes, leaning on the sofa. His face became even colder under the light.

She pursed her lips and asked tentatively, "Should I bring you the sobering soup?"

"Yes."

He responded it very quickly.

Hearing his voice, Sage Eudora quickly turned around and walked into the kitchen.

She came out again, carrying the soup.

As the famous saying goes, practice makes perfect. The finished product was clearly better than the first time.

She received a text message at 11: 40. She saw the text message, and immediately changed her clothes to make the sobering soup.

Before Ellison Davis came back, she had already prepared the soup. The soup was very hot so that she just put it in the cold water for a while. She only looked at the man on the sofa, and was somewhat hesitant.

He didn't move. Usually, the man would have his eyes closed at this moment as if he was asleep.

She set the soup on the table, then leaned over and tentatively called him: "Mr. Davis?"

As soon as she said that, the man opened his eyes.

She stiffened slightly, then picked up the soup. "I just used cold water to cool it down. It's not very hot."

He lifted his eyes to look at her, stretched out his hand, and drank it all in one gulp.

Sage Eudora slightly heaved a sigh of relief. Just as she was about to grab the bowl and bring it to the kitchen, her wrist suddenly tightened?

She was dragged into his arms and her head hit him squarely in the chest.

Sage Eudora trembled, raising her head to look at him, "President Davis?"

He looked down at her, with his heavy breath due to alcohol.

Sage Eudora could not take it anymore, but she dared not to break away. She looked at him with red eyes, "Mr. Davis, you are drunk."

"Am I drunk?" he asked her suddenly.

Sage Eudora hurriedly shook her head, "No, no, I... I was drunk."

She shook her head, the tears welling in her eyes.

Ellison Davis loosened his grip, looked at her and slightly frowned, "Are you afraid of me?"

Sage Eudora pursed her lips but did not say anything.

He forced her to speak. "Speak."

Her voice was filled with an irresistible force and Sage Eudora trembled. Her tears slid down from the corners of her eyes and flowed down her face before falling into his hands.

Sage Eudora quickly raised her hand to wipe her eyes. However, the more tears she wiped, the more tears she could not wipe them away.

"What are you crying about? Have I done anything to offend you?"

He pulled her hand away, and a big hand directly fell on top of her eyes.

Sage Eudora timidly looked at him, "I, I'm afraid of you."

She thrust her head into his shoulder. "Don't be mean to me. I'm afraid of you." Ellison Davis's hand hovered in the air just like that. He lowered his head to look at the woman in his embrace, a rare smile showing in his cold eyes.

He pulled the person out from his embrace, "Be good and I won't hurt you."

Sage Eudora could hear the hint of a smile in his voice. Her face stiffened as she raised her hand to push him away. She wanted to get up from his body, but was stopped by him.

"Don't move."

He reached for her, bent down, and suddenly bit her on the lips.

Sage Eudora couldn't help gasping in pain. "Hiss —"

He had really bitten with full strength.

He leaned close to her ear and leisurely said, "Sage Eudora, once you cry, I fall for you much deeper."
