Chapter 41 Turn around to the apartment

It had already been 7 o'clock in the evening. She went out of the study,

The servants had already left. There were three dishes and a soup hot in the kitchen. Sage Eudora brought them to the dining table and began to eat.

It was probably because she had kept her brush for six hours, so that her hands were trembling.

It was after eight o'clock when she finished dinner. Sage Eudora cleaned up the table and returned the dishes to the kitchen. She went upstairs to her room and stood on the balcony, enjoying the breeze.

Florida's wine and lanterns were easily caught in her sight. In this boundless universe, she didn't know why she had to live such a difficult life.

Sage originally thought that Ellison Davis would come over tonight, but she didn't see anyone until 10 pm. Instead, she went to take a shower and sleep.

It was 11.30pm.

Ellison Davis in a black suit walked out of the hotel. Yates Miller sitting in the front row turned around and glanced at him, "Mr. Davis, are you going to Miss Eudora's place?"

The man who suddenly opened eyes and looked at him. A strange coldness could be seen within those black eyes.

Yates Miller didn't dare to say anything and waited for him to speak.

After an unknown amount of time, the man finally moved his lips and said, "Return to the villa."

"Okay, Mr. Davis."

Yates Miller gave a signal to the driver, but the car had not even been driven for ten minutes when the man in the back spoke again, "Turn around and go to the apartment."

A cold voice came from the back. Yates Miller subconsciously looked in the mirror.

As he said this, Ellison Davis's eyes were still closed, and his face had a somewhat cold expression.

At the dinner party tonight, Ellison Davis drank a lot of wine.

The villa and the apartment were almost in the opposite direction. Ellison Davis suddenly changed his direction, leaving the driver no choice but to turn around.

It was past twelve when the car reached the apartment. Yates Miller got out of the car and opened the door for Ellison Davis.

"Boss?"

Yates Miller asked Ellison Davis in a low voice, only then did he open his eyes.

Ellison Davis tilted his head and glanced at him, then got out of the car, "You can go back."

He walked into the elevator.

He drank quite a lot today, and it was even liquor, so his head hurt a little. When he entered the elevator, he leaned against the wall, his whole body was as cold as ice.

The apartment was so quiet that the sound of footsteps could be heard. Ellison Davis knew that Sage was already asleep by this time.

He opened the door to saw the light. He subconsciously frowned.

At this moment, the woman walked out of the kitchen all of a sudden.

Sage Eudora looked at Ellison Davis who was standing in front of her, her hands moved slightly, but she did not dare to extend them, only daring to call out to him: "Mr. Davis?"

Hearing her voice, he looked down at her. "Still awake?"

He crossed over to the sofa, lifted his hand, threw his coat aside, and sat down.

Sage Eudora turned to look at him, "Mr. Miller sent me a message saying that you're coming over."

As soon as she said that, he suddenly raised his head and looked at her. "And then?"

His words were a little cold, causing Sage Eudora to tremble uncontrollably.

Stunned, she quickly reacted and pointed to the kitchen. "I, I cooked the soup for your hangover."

Ellison Davis didn't speak, his pair of black eyes staring straight at her.

Sage Eudora stood there, her palms covered in sweat.

She didn't know if she had done too much. Should a lover not do this?

This was something a girlfriend or wife should do. Had she crossed the line?

The more she thought about it, the more her face paled.

Ellison Davis sitting on the sofa suddenly answered, "Okay."
