Chapter 40 She didn't want Ellison to know

When Sage woke up, it had already in the morning. With the shiny sun light casting into the room, she could get the whole view of this room very clearly.

Ellison Davis was no longer in the room. She turned his head, and the messy bed sheets told her what had happened last night.

Thinking about what happened last night, Sage Eudora's expression slightly changed. She raised her hand to touch her face, then reached out to grab the blanket and wrapped it around her before entering the bathroom.

The servant knocked on the door. Sage Eudora was in the middle of changing her clothes.

At the knock on the door, she casually put on a dress and went out.

Standing at the door was the servant who was sent back by Ellison Davis. Sage Eudora remembered that she had made breakfast for him, seems like he was disgusted by it.

"Miss Eudora, there's still some warm porridge in the kitchen. Do you want me to bring it over for you? Besides, what would you like to eat for lunch?"

She pursed her lips and said, "I'll be fine to go downstairs to eat. If it's noon, light meal is acceptable. Thank you."

"Alright."

Watching the servant leave, Sage Eudora stood on the spot for a while before she turned around, took her phone and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

After breakfast, Sage Eudora called Phyllis Foster. She was relieved when she found out that Issac Moore had just had an operation.

Ellison Davis's apartment was huge, and he had a lot of books in his study.

But Sage Eudora didn't go in to read. Last time, Kyrie Simmons destroyed her competition painting, so she could only draw another one.

Not many people knew about her painting. Even Queenie Eudora didn't know that she had secretly learned to paint.

On the surface, the Eudora Family wouldn't treat her very harshly. But in reality, they wouldn't even let her report to any class other than their normal studies.

She had wanted to learn to paint when she was in junior high, but she had no money. Several times after school she stood outside the window of someone's painting class and looked at the people inside.

Only when Mr. Tomson met her later did she have the chance to learn to draw.

However, she didn't dare to let Queenie Eudora know about this. Queenie Eudora was very competitive, she wouldn't allow this adopted daughter of the Eudora Family to be stronger than her in any way.

Sage Eudora dragged the luggage into the study. She first came here and brought a suitcase which basically contained her previous paintings and tools.

Each painting had different emotions.

The Deep Abyss from before was no longer as same as it was now.

She didn't have much time left. It was already past June. If she didn't hand in the script on July 10th, she would have to give up on this competition.

The servant knocked on the door. She had just started writing. Hearing the knock on the door, Sage Eudora's hand slightly trembled, and a line was pulled out.

She didn't want him to know she was painting, so she couldn't let the servants know she was painting, either.

Sage Eudora tidied up her things as she replied, "I'll be back in five minutes."

"Yes, Miss Eudora."

She went downstairs. Sage Eudora breathed a sigh of relief and quickly packed her things into her luggage and locked it.

After lunch, she did not go to take a nap. She told the servant not to serve her for dinner, then locked the study and began writing.

It took Sage Eudora an entire afternoon to redraw the painting.

When she looked up at the sky, it was already dark outside. She sat there, waiting for the paint to dry more thoroughly.
