Chapter 3 Old Scene and the Old Man

Lost in thought, Susan couldn't help shedding tears and almost fell off the stairs in a daze.

The big Golden Retriever downstairs looked up straight when there was movement upstairs. He swayed his tail excitedly side to side when Susan came downstairs. Mrs Bull was dwelling on what to cook for breakfast in the kitchen. She heard the sound and poked her head out to have a look. Her endearing prospective daughter-in-law was crying as she walked downstairs.

"Oh Susan, why are you crying? Did my second son bully you?"

Mrs Bull wiped her hands with her apron and walked quickly to hold Susan in her arms. The slight fragrance immediately wrapped Susan's nose. Enveloped by such a familiar smell, Susan cried more fiercely. To her, Mrs Bull was the second most important woman to her besides her biological mother, but she did not cherish such kinship in her previous life, thus in the end, Mrs Bull refusing to see her again.

One of the three major disciplines for Mrs Bull was that as long as Susan was bullied, it must be Henry, that naughty boy's mistake!

Immediately she rolled up her sleeves and intended to teach her son a good lesson. Susan stopped her at once and said in grief while sniffing ,"Mrs Bull, I miss my mother ..."

Upon hearing her words, Mrs Bull stopped her movements and held Susan in her arms to comfort her. Mrs. Cotton was a strong woman and was busy with company affairs 365 days a year. Even though Mrs. Cotton was her intimate girlfriend, she also couldn't help complaining about her. "Silly girl, I will call your mother tonight and tell her to come back to accompany you. She wasn't able to come to your junior high school graduation ceremony. You will soon go to high school and she still has no free time to take after you!"

According to Mrs Bull's words, Susan probably knew the time now. She did reborn and return to the summer vacation when she just graduated from junior high. Everything had not changed yet!

Henry met Sunny Hard after entering high school and started to change. Susan was originally going to the No. 4 middle school. Meddling along with Henry at junior high, she couldn't go to the first-rate middle school in A city that gathered top students. In order to go to the same high school with Henry, she spent a lot of money to squeeze into it, so that her reputation in the school was very bad. Others would say when mentioning her,

"Look, it's the pretentious rich girl again!"

No one recognized Henry, the son of the richest man in city A, but she became the golden phoenix at the No.1 middle school, and everyone avoided her.

"Mrs Bull, I want to go home tonight ..."

Before she finished speaking, she was interrupted by Mrs Bull. "Did Henryy you? Never be afraid. Mrs Bull is on your side!"

"No, no!" Susan hurriedly explained. In her previous life, the great deterioration of the relationship between Henry and her mother in was largely caused by her. No matter what happened, Bull's mother always protected her. Henry was very rebellious in his adolescence. In addition to his excessive grievances and incomprehension of his family members, he moved out directly in the second year of high school, and Mrs Bull was sad for this for a long time.

Susan didn't want to make Mrs Bull sad, and took her hand to appease her. "Henry didn't bully me, but new semester is beginning. I dropped too much in junior high school. I'm afraid I can't keep up without making up in advance!"

This was a truth. No parent could prevent children from learning.

Mrs Bull was really not angry any longer and said with a smile, "Good baby, I hope Henry were just as hard-working as you. Let's have breakfast first! You went to call Andy and I'll fry the eggs for you first!"

When Mrs Bull mentioned this name, Susan's heart shrank suddenly, and then began to hurt like ants gnawing.

Elder Brother Andy, even though nobody believed her anymore, he unconditionally believed her and took care of her. In the end, he lost his life because of her ignorance.

Susan's heart was filled with guilt, so she stood outside for a long time and did not have the courage to push open the door to meet Andy.

Suddenly, someone put his hands on her shoulders. Susan looked up with a shock. The handsome young man with his head lowered slightly smiled at her, behind the silver-rimmed glasses his eyes sparkling with gentle light.

Susan bit her lips and shed tears at once.
