Chapter 2 Newborn

Early in the morning, the sound of birds pierced through the bedding. A pure black cat squatted in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. At the branches spreading through the railings on the other side of the glass window, a few birds fluttered their wings cheerfully.

The black cat stared at the living creatures outside, its tail swaying violently from side to side. The soft "mew" sound in its throat was made seemingly to attract the attention of the outside birds.

"Ah--"

A horrified scream exploded from inside the room. Terribly frightened, the birds spread their wings and fled. The black cat was deprived of its good meal. It looked back at the source of the sound unpleasantly. A girl with disheveled hair sat up from the bed. Her big T-shirt could not cover her exposed thin legs as white as jade which showed that the girl was from a rich family.

But there was another person in the room who was not disturbed by the girl 's screams. It was a slender teenager sitting on the boss chair opposite to the bed. His slender fingers quickly struck the keyboard, and his hair caught by the headphones. A pair of slightly tired eyes could be seen under the hair.

Susan looked around. She couldn't be more familiar with this decorated room. The teenager before her was also the person she deeply loved.

"Henry ..."

Susan shouted in a whisper, her childish voice made her a little shocked. In order to cater to Henry's preference, she changed her voice into that of a royal sister. Susan stared at her reflection in the mirror on the wardrobe. She was a little stunned. Fringe, long, black and straight hair, a strand of hair dyed red, this was clearly what she looked like when she was seventeen years old.

Did she ... relive?

Susan's nose was sore, and she pinched her thighs to hold back her tears.

The teenager who won the game stopped striking the keyboard, took off his headphones, rubbed his aching hands, and turned his head back to glance at the bed behind him, just meeting Susan's eyes.

"Lazy pig, you woke up!"

The 17-year-old Henry was as pretty as a girl with thin lips and eyebrows. His eyes were flickering with laziness. Although he wasn't yet unruly and proud as he was when he became a president a few years later, he was horrible enough when losing his temper as hungry wolf hunting for the prey. Nobody dared to underestimate him.

In her previous life, Susan would surely ask him shyly if he wanted to sleep together.

They were neighbors. Susan's parents were busy with business all the year round, and she often stayed at home by herself. Mrs Bull treated Susan really as her biological daughter, so most of the time Susan lived with the Bull family.

When Susan was young, she slept on the same bed with Henry. Since they were young, there was not much differences between boys and girls. They either fought with each other or made troubles. When they grew up, gender consciousness rose in their hearts. Susan intentionally or unintentionally wanted to get close to him and naturally refused to sleep alone. Henry suddenly became addicted to games during that time and often stayed up all night. Later Susan realized that the reason why Henry played games all night was not that the game was fun, but he was unwilling to sleep with her any more.

There was a difference between men and women. At that time, Henry had already kept a distance from her in a gentle way ...

However, knowing nothing about his mind, Susan had always occupied the whole bed by herself, so during the summer vacation when they went to the high school, Henry was sleeping on the boss chair. Susan remembered that she complained it to Mrs Bull when Henry was so engaged in playing games. Henry lost his temper, and glared at her for the first time.

However, after experiencing everything in her previous life, Susan naturally knew what Henry was thinking about now. She was silent and didn't reply. She got out of bed and put away her clothes. She glanced at her favorite doll bolster and hurried out holding it in her arms.

Since Susan did not answer, Henry was confused. But at this time, the sleepiness overcame his thoughts, so he squinted his eyes, threw himself at the bed, wrapped himself in a quilt and fell asleep.

Susan didn't have the energy to care about Henry. All of her previous life was deeply imprinted in her mind. Before she got married, she tried her best to cater to Henry and fought with other women out of jealousy . After they married, he turned his back on her and flirted with other women to her face.

When Susan gave birth to a child, he even received a video of he and Sunny Hard taking wedding photos. Susan almost died of hard labor. Their wedding photos were all fake and made through Photoshop!

That life was so painful.
