Chapter 11 Pathetic Bachelor

"Randy, listen, no matter what happens, you should stay calm. Don't resort to violence so fast! Good kids won't do that."

Afraid that Nora would flare up, Emery decided to do the preaching.

"Mm, Godmother, I see. You talk just like Brook."

Randy grinned, showing two buckteeth, and Emery's heart melted.

"Ha-ha... looks like Brook is comparatively normal in your family."

Emery stroked his head and laughed heartily.

"According to Brook, he will be here in a couple of days. You'll see him by then."

Nora nodded in agreement. True, among the Conway family members, Brook was comparatively normal.

The three chatted happily for a long time. In the evening, Emery treated the mother and son to dinner.

They went to a high-class club. Emery chose the place because it was safe and private.

In Foley's old house...

"Josh, do you think Wyatt will come to celebrate Grandpa's birthday?"

The speaker had silky, brown curls and fair skin. The white dress she wore looked soft. At that moment, she was pouting and looking expectantly at a man sitting on the sofa.

"I just called him. He promised to come in a moment."

The man with short chestnut hair was wearing sportswear and slightly raising his pretty jaw.

"He-he... I knew it. No matter how busy Wyatt is, he won't miss Grandpa's birthday. I wonder what gift he will present."

The girl was named Maria Foley. Wyatt was her second brother.

"Forget about him, have you prepared your gift?"

Josh, the eldest son of the Foley Family, looked at his sister amusingly.

"You bet. I prepared for it a long time ago. Now we just need to wait for Wyatt. By the way, why hasn't Grandpa finished changing his clothes?"

Maria patted a gift box in her hand and raised her chin proudly.

"Grandpa is at home, and we can just urge him to be quick. Only Wyatt is not back yet. The booth we reserved will be open at six o'clock. I guess we'll be late."

Luckily, the club was owned by Wyatt, and the booth would be kept for them.

"If so, Wyatt should treat us. After all, he is super-rich."

Maria looked up at the door, but there was no one outside. Wyatt was still not back yet.

"I don't know why Wyatt works so hard. He doesn't even have a girlfriend. What's the point of making so much money?"

Josh couldn't help but roast his workaholic brother who was single and often late for appointments.

"Yeah, Wyatt is going to have his 30th birthday. It's not like he is ugly. Why hasn't he even dated so far?"

Maria also roasted her brother! Although Josh was not married, he had dated many girls!

In fact, there was a secret Maria held to herself.
