Chapter 18 Meet Your Boy Addicted to the Internet
"Aright, it's not that scary as you said. Go now; I'm changing my clothes before it's too late."
"Sweetheart, you don't know yourself at all. Your face and slender waist are irresistible."
Hailey ignored her nagging and pushed her out of the room.
She quickly changed into a black dress with lapels. The hem reached her knees, setting off her long legs without revealing too much. The length was perfect.
After changing her clothes, she carefully examined herself in front of the mirror, quickly putting on light makeup and attractive lipstick.
At last, she pondered for a while and put on a black mask to cover half of her face.
She didn't want the Andersons to know her true identity so early.
...
A black Rolls-Royce Phantom sped out of the Orchid villa area.
"Sir, the old lady asked you to offer birthday congratulations to the Andersons, but you didn't even get off. Will the old lady be angry about it?" In the passenger seat, Nolan pushed his glasses and said with concern.
The secretary waited for quite a while, but Ryan made no reply.
He looked back and saw Ryan resting one hand on the window and holding a cell phone to watch.
"Okay, meet your boy addicted to the internet." He muttered.
"What did you say?" Ryan suddenly asked.
Nolan cowered and hurriedly denied, "Nothing, nothing."
"Go to Edge Club." Ryan ignored him and instructed the driver.
Nolan froze in the passenger seat.
"Sir, our BD team has arranged a meeting with Summer Tech tonight. Since you just come back from Country M, you must be tired. Why don't you go back to the villa first? The old lady just called."
Ryan put down his cell phone and darted a cold look at his secretary.
The temperature in the car dropped instantly. Nolan winced and winked at the driver.
Bummer, he was bold to speculate on the thoughts of his boss.
The limousine sped on the road, and the yellow street lights flashed by. Gilded by the flicker, his sculpted face reflected an attractive luster.
The Rolls-Royce pulled off at the underground parking lot of Edge Club.
"Leave me the car; you can get off work now."
Ryan got off and walked straight to the elevator.
The moment the elevator door slowly closed, a black car flashed by and stopped at the parking lot, following a swift drift. Perfect!
Ryan lifted his eyelids and saw through the crevice a pretty leg stretching out of the car door.
To his surprise, the car was also a black Phantom.
Ding...
As fate would have it, Ryan wanted to press the eighth-floor button but accidentally touched the open button.
The elevator door opened, and a woman got in gracefully, her high heels clicking on the floor.
A mask covered her face, but her pretty eyes were seductive.
Even the ascetic Ryan couldn't help but take a second glance at her.
After entering the elevator, Hailey nodded politely at him for his friendly gesture of holding the door.
Each of them stood at a corner, and the elevator somehow moved slower than normal. The atmosphere became awkward.
The stainless-steel walls were polished like mirrors. Hailey stood upright, looked ahead, but could not help stealing a glance at the man through the 'mirror.'
His black suit was handmade, his white shirt was well-cut, and his tall, perfect figure fully accentuated.
His features were sculpted, but his slanted eyes were so deep that she didn't dare look. The air about him was so unapproachable.
Hailey thought to herself. If the erotic Judy were here, she would drool for sure. This hot man was her type.
Should she snap a picture for Judy?
