Chapter 8 Mr. Wilson (Part II)

"Oh, Miss Davis also thinks that my proposal is a candy?"

After the rough experiences in the past half a year, Camille had become eloquent. "Of course, how esteemed Mr. Wilson is."

"You know about me?"

Camille was dumbfounded.

She literally had little knowledge about him.

Few people in Silk City knew the background of Danny, who appeared out of nowhere.

Because of that, Camille commissioned a private detective to find out the identity of Danny.

Danny coldly snorted, "Miss Davis is more and more eloquent now."

As they talked with each other, Cherry appeared at the building's door, her hair messy. She seemed to be arguing with someone, and her handbag was missing.

There was a candid camera in her bag.

Was the camera found?

Camille was anxious to see if Cherry was injured and if the camera was taken away. She was about to rush over when Danny stopped her.

Camille then realized that her wrists had been caught by Danny at some point and pressed against her back.

Camille struggled with anger and cursed, "Are you done?"

Danny raised his eyebrows, "Miss Davis dislikes me?"

He turned sideways and gestured toward the side door of the building, "Watch there."

A dozen tough-looking security personnel came out and spread in groups, looking as if they were searching for something.

The camera was definitely found.

Danny said, "They are obviously trying to lure you out. You think Anthony is too innocent to find your tricks?"

Camille was so scared that she cowered behind Danny.

Danny looked at Camille and ordered, "Take off your jacket."

Camille's eyes widened in shock. "What did you say?"

The voice of the intercom of a security guard sounded near them, "She wears a light green trench coat."

Camille knew that Danny was right but remained defiant, "You are so strong. Can't you deal with him?"

Danny stared at Camille with a dangerous look, "What did you say?"

As he talked, another group of security guards came out of the Economic and Trade Building.

A hero should have sensible judgment about his situation. Camille quickly took off her jacket, loosened her hair, took off her glasses, and put them in Danny's jacket pocket.

Danny raised his hand and rested it on Camille's slender neck, leaning over to hide her.

The two were so close that Danny's breath hit Camille's neck, and her heart was pounding with tension.

In the eyes of others, they looked like a couple who were in love with each other.

After the security guards moved away, Edward Taylor, Danny's assistant, walked over.

Camille looked behind Edward, and two bodyguards came out of a black Bentley before she realized she was being teased, "You're not alone!"

Danny replied with an unmoved face, "Did I say I was alone?"

"Liar!"

Camille pushed Danny aside and ran away with anger.

She was so indignant that she forgot to think why Danny seemed to know her plan about Anthony.

Edward was surprised and could not help fixing his eyes on the back of Camille.

In so many years when he served Danny, he had never seen anyone dare to disrespect him. Miraculously, Danny was not annoyed and even looked a bit content...

Camille, Miss Davis...

Was she the one that Danny met five years ago?

The moment Danny watched Camille leave and took out the glasses in his pocket that she forgot, his teasing expression was completely gone. With an aura of coldness and authority, he looked at Edward and ordered, "Close the net."

His words sent Edward a tremble. He swiftly collected his thoughts and replied, "Yes, Mr. Wilson."

An inconspicuous man in a polo shirt with a shallow scar near the hairline pressed the shutter to capture the entire process in the distance.
