Chapter 8 She's My Girlfriend

Ivy found the girl weird. Why was she giggling about?

"Thomas, who is this girl?"

Thomas suddenly strode to Michelle and naturally threw his arm around her shoulder.

Michelle was taken aback. Immersed in her imagination, she didn't even notice the approaching danger.

She moved her shoulder to shake off the robust arm, but he pressed her so forcefully to prevent her from growing taller than him?

Thomas did his best to confine her in his arms. Formally a soldier, he was skilled in subduing an enemy.

Ivy looked at Thomas incredulously. They were so intimate. Could it be...

Thomas found the amazement on her face funny but managed to hold back his laughter. On the surface, he looked composed, "Mom, I forgot to tell you the reason why I'm reluctant to go on blind dates. That's because I've got a girlfriend! Now allow me to introduce, this is my girlfriend, Michelle!"

To Michelle, it was a blot from the blue. Was this man confused? Why did he tell his mother that she was his girlfriend? What if the lady believed him?

Michelle lifted her head and glared at Thomas. Before she could explain, Thomas whispered in her ear in a volume only audible to them two, "Today, you must play it through with me!"

Michelle didn't dare to act rashly. No matter how she disliked Thomas, he was her boss. "Why should I work with you?" She gnashed her teeth.

There was a hint of a threat in his tone, "Unless you want to lose your job, you should know about your situation well. If you're fired by Royal Thunder, no other companies will hire you!"

Just now, she was still thanking Thomas inwardly for allowing her to prove herself. Why did the situation change so fast?

"How could you threaten me like this? This is immoral..."

Whatever she complained, his goal had been attained.

As a sophisticated woman, Ivy smelt a rat from the whisperings of the two.

"What are you whispering about?"

Thomas arched his eyebrow, found the situation funnier, but had to refrain from laughing, "Nothing, Michi thought you were my sister! She wondered how to greet you!"

All women liked compliments, and even the lofty Ivy was no exception.

Women of her age cared more about it. As she was flattered, her look softened a lot.

With a smile, she walked to Michelle and grabbed her hands, "Girl, tell me your name."

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Ruiz. My name is Michelle!"

Ivy sized her up. Be it appearance or figure, this girl was impeccable. No wonder she could win the heart of her picky son.

She could find nothing unsatisfactory about the girl and then wondered about her family background and occupation.

"No wonder you talk honey words. Your name is as sweet as your appearance."
