Chapter 15 A Ready Grave

That woman dared to say that he was a money boy, which was absolutely an insult to his noble status.

"Mr. Moussi, I don't know her. She passed by our private room and was being molested. She didn't seem like a frivolous woman, so I shut her into your room..." Jake wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. Last night. Mr. Moussi didn't feel well after drinking the wine given by Miss. White and even the doctor failed to relieve him. Under such circumstances, Christine ran into their private room. Since Jake didn't see her as a regular in the club, he wanted her to be Mr. Moussi's cure.

"No matter who she is, find her out even if you have to turn this city over, and notify me once you find her!" Ryan squinted his black jewel-like eyes, and fixed his gaze toward a certain spot, his fierce face full of killing intent.

"As you command, Mr. Moussi. I'm on it." Jake wiped his cold sweat again. This was the first time his young master had been pissed off like this. He wondered how the woman had offended his master.

After all, offending Mr. Moussi, the one in the power of the Moussi Group, was equivalent to digging a tomb for herself in advance.

Fortunately, Mr. Moussi didn't blame him for taking the liberty last night.

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Jake hurried out to investigate Christine.

In the hospital.

Christine went back to her hometown, trying to find her mother's passbook. But after she turned over all the family savings to the hospital, it was still not enough...

Leaving her mother's ward in a low spirit, Christine only had a few hundred yuan left.

"What am I gonna do?" Pulling her hair, Christine was desperate. One day had passed, which meant she only had two days left. If she couldn't pay the remaining debt, the hospital would stop the drug supply to her mother who was already a vegetable. And once they did that, her mother was very likely not to be treated again and get recovered in the future.

"Oh, I remember. I have saved some money from my previous jobs. Although they are limited, at least I can buy my mother a few more days with them. It's just..." She kept the passbook in Darren's villa. If she wanted to get it back, she would have to go back and fetch it from that disgusting villa!

Since things had gone ugly between her with Darren, Christine didn't want to see the shameless couple again in her life!

However, if she didn't go back there, how could she solve her mother's medical expenses?

She had borrowed money from all her relatives. Those who could help had offered her help; while those who didn't want to help her didn't even answer her phone. Now she was indeed in a desperate situation.

After thinking for a long time, Christine made her decision. For the sake of her mother, she resolutely got up and walked towards the villa where Darren and she were going to get married.

For her mother, she had to go back there even though she didn't want to.

Besides, perhaps Darren and Wylie were not in the villa at this time. With the key to the villa, she could simply leave the place after getting her passbook, and she might not have to see them at all.

Having this in mind, Christine walked to the bus stop, planning to perform her plan.

The bus whistled and finally arrived at Darren's villa after dozens of minutes of slow driving.

It was already evening, and the night was a bit dark. Under the blowing cold wind in late autumn in City S, Christine was trembling all over. After getting off the bus, she walked to the door of Darren's villa in a complicated mood. She kept praying in her heart that he and Wylie were not there so that she could take away her passbook undetected and no one would be so embarrassed. She was even more afraid that she could not help but want to slap Wylie for how she had hurt her mother and even walked away afterward! She hated Darren and Wylie for what they had done!

However, Christine was also well-aware that she was helpless and had no right to confront Darren and Wylie directly. If she went to Wylie to settle the case, Darren would not let her go given his character. If so, she might not even have a chance to take care of her mother. Therefore, she decided to hold back this time. Now she just wanted her mother to get better.

She took out the key and gently turned the key to open the door.

However, after she inserted the key in, she couldn't open the security door of the villa!

"Why can't it open?" Christine tried several times but still couldn't turn the door lock. In desperation, she had to remove the key to check the door lock.

Squatting down and looking at the lock, Christine realized that the lock of their wedding room had been replaced with a new one, and the key in her hand was now useless!

"It turns out that the lock was changed." Christine was depressed. When she came back last night, her key was still available, but the lock was suddenly changed overnight. Were Darren and Wylie afraid that she, an outsider, would disturb their happy life again?

"What should I do? I can't sneak in now, but how could I take out my passbook?" Standing at the door, Christine was anxious.

Since the door was locked and she couldn't get in at all, she could only call Darren. But she didn't want to see them at all!

As soon as she saw them, she would think of the betrayal and deceit she had endured, which also got her tormented.
