Chapter 15 Prodigy Tony's Idol
When Jessi walked out of the office, Doris had taken Mona away.
Sitting alone on the Bench, Tessa looked up slightly in a meek manner.
Jessi wondered if the glimmer of sharpness in Tessa's eyes was just a hallucination.
"Hi, Tessa, I'm your form teacher. Let's go to the classroom now."
Tessa took her bag, her arms dazzling white. Obediently, she followed Jessi forward.
Jessi looked over her shoulder from time to time to observe this girl.
"Do you have anything to say?"
Tessa suddenly stopped and gazed at Jessi quietly.
Jessi hesitated for a moment. "We're relatives. My husband is Dylan Wexler, your father's younger brother."
Tessa remembered this man.
When she was one year old, Dylan was a student in high school. He used to play with her after school as if she was a precious toy.
What a kindhearted and gentle man! It was a pity that he had died at a young age.
"How's your grandmother?" Jessi asked.
Nervous, she avoided Tessa's eyes.
"Why don't you go back and see for yourself?" Tessa said with a smile. "That's my grandma's home, not David Wexler's."
Jessi was surprised.
When she drew back her attention, she saw Tessa had gone far away and caught up immediately.
Class 2, grade 12.
When Bryan Hall was showing off his record in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds last night, he was pushed by a hand from behind.
He frowned, ready to fly into a rage. But seeing that it was Tony Rosen, he grinned exaggeratedly.
"Bro, what can I do for you?"
"Go and sit in the back."
Bryan whined, "Bro, don't give me up, please! I promise I'll study harder!"
"I'm just asking you to sit elsewhere, not killing you."
"Do you think this is an ordinary seat? This is a glorious seat!"
Bryan suddenly rose, jumping and waving his hands.
"If I'm not here, those girls will fight against each other for this seat! Bro, for the peace of our class, you can't drive me away!"
This was not nonsense.
Tony was an academic prodigy who ranked in the top 10 in this elite school.
Last year, he had won a gold medal in IMO and received the highest honor for high school students worldwide.
His father was a College Board member; he himself was very handsome and looked like Jackson Yee when he smiled. Among the girls, he was very popular.
Pitifully, he loved only study. He never opened those love letters, and instead, he tore them before throwing them into the rubbish bin.
The snacks and gifts from his admirers were all given to Bryan and other boys.
"Piss off now and you'll get my homework answers. But if you..."
Without any words, Bryan threw his bag to the empty seat in the last row. Then, as fast as a whirlwind, he carried all his things over.
Tony looked at the empty seat next to him with satisfaction as if she had been sitting there.
When he participated in the IMO training last year, the teacher invited a special training expert to instruct them.
By then, the teacher was elated. He said this expert would help them get good grades as long as they listened carefully.
They thought the expert was an authority like a mathematician.
But to their surprise, it was a girl as beautiful as a model.
Certainly, it was Tessa.
At the very beginning, Tony and the other five competitors were rather suspicious of her ability.
They were selected at a national level through many competitions. How could this girl, as young as them, be eligible to instruct them?
But they were impressed by her intelligence in the very first class.
Although they really got good grades in the IMO...
That one-month training came as a blow to them...
