Chapter 22 Did You Knock Her out?

With her pretty brows furrowed, Brenda repeated her question stubbornly, "Mr. Lloyd, why did you save me? I thought you hate me."

Terry narrowed his eyes. "I hate you?"

Brenda muttered, "You're so rich. Just because I wanted to borrow half a million from you, you actually kicked me out of the vehicle. People say that you can earn millions in a second..."

Thanks to the spirits those bastards had forced her to take, Brenda was completely drunk.

She was so drunk that she even dared poke Terry's chest with her finger and complained, "The hospital has said that if I cannot pay the medical expenses, they will stop treating Lucas. In that case, Lucas will die. Mr. Lloyd, why are you so stingy?"

At the woman's words, Terry eventually put forward the question in his mind, "Brenda, why don't you take half a million from that ten million?"

Instead of that, she had put herself in such a danger.

"Ten million?" Brenda shook her head. "You mean one thousand, right? I actually don't even have a thousand yuan. All I have is 835. As I didn't attend any event or program this month, I can only get my basic salary. Sounds horrible, right? I know, I am more like a saleswoman rather than an actress."

Terry thought the woman was playing the fool. It was Ralph who interrupted her by raising a question.

"Miss Shaw is Eva Webb, your agent?"

Eva had asked Terry for ten million and claimed that Brenda had asked her to do so.

Brenda denied it without hesitation, "Hell, no!"

Ralph was shocked. Had Eva deceived Mr. Lloyd?

Was she trying to bring herself behind bars?

Brenda then added, "She is my bawd."

Ralph was speechless.

Brenda continued indignantly, "She just wants to sell me for a good price. That President Wood is so disgusting. I'd rather swallow a beer bottle than be touched by him!"

While speaking, she waggled her body in Terry's arms, and her plump breasts accidentally crashed into the man's muscular chest, and her lips touched his neck and left a trace of fragrance on it.

The impact made the woman lean backward, and her body was falling to the carpet.

With a ray of brilliance in his eyes, Terry hurried to hold the woman's waist with one arm and pulled her towards him.

The temperature in the vehicle increased dramatically.

Ralph, whose head was initially tilted, hurried to adjust it to face the front.

Witnessing what was going on between the man and woman, Ralph could not help but overthink it.

Yes. Miss Shaw's hand was injured, but was it necessary for her to throw herself into Mr. Lloyd's arms?

Did not she know that Mr. Lloyd was celibate?

"Well, forget it. It doesn't matter as long as Mr. Lloyd likes it." Ralph thought to himself.

When the vehicle arrived at Terry's villa in Catskill Mountain, Brenda was sleeping soundly.

Ralph quickly got out of the car and opened the backseat door, saying, "Mr. Lloyd, let me take Miss Shaw inside."

Terry ignored his assistant and got off the car with Brenda in his arms.

Brenda was a slim woman, and her weight actually meant nothing to Terry.

Ralph followed behind his boss. After taking two steps forward, he heard Terry order, "Go and check on the background of that Eva."

"Yes, Mr. Lloyd."

Sure enough. That agent was problematic.

The villa was brightly lit, and the butler was standing at the door together with the servants.

Jimmy, who had been fiddling with Lego bricks on the sofa, pursed his lips and made up his mind to ignore his bad Daddy.

That was Jimmy's punishment for his father as the latter prevented him from seeing Brenda.

"Call Neil Wright," Terry ordered.

Jimmy peeked out from behind the couch and could not resist bouncing off the seat as soon as he caught sight of the figure in Terry's arms. "It's Brenda. Daddy, you brought Brenda back?"

Jimmy rushed over to his father barefoot and jumped up and down to see if the woman was Brenda. Unfortunately, Terry was so tall that Jimmy could not see the woman's face, no matter how hard he tried.

"Let me see, let me see. Brenda? Brenda?" The little boy was anxious. "Daddy, did you knock Brenda out?"

Terry put Brenda on the bed in the guest room, and Jimmy followed his father up all the way.

Seeing that it was his Brenda, Jimmy curled up his lips. However, before that smile could come into being, he noticed the blood upon Brenda's blouse and her hand.

Just as Terry wanted to cover his son's eyes, the boy threw himself into Brenda's chest.

"Brenda!" Jimmy's voice was tearful. "Wake up, Brenda. Don't scare me!"

Jimmy's yell eventually woke Brenda up. For a moment, the woman could not tell where she was. Seeing the tears in Jimmy's big eyes, she sobered up for a certain degree.

"Jimmy?" Brenda hurried to sit up. "What's wrong, babe? Don't cry."

She was still drunk, feeling dizzy.

She picked Jimmy up into her arms, gently patting his back and comforting him by saying, "Don't cry, babe."

It had been long since Jimmy had been treated like a baby boy. Therefore, he felt somewhat embarrassed. Still, he did not want to separate himself from Brenda's arms.

Jimmy lifted his head to look at his father's expression, which was tinged with jocosity, and actually blushed all over.

"Your hand doesn't hurt anymore?"

Brenda instantly felt a sharp soreness in her hand at Terry's reminder, holding Jimmy's chubby butt. "Ouch, it hurts. Jimmy, you butt bites my hand!" She almost threw the little boy away.
