Chapter 23 What a Drama Queen

At this moment, Mona said in a seemingly worried tone, "Director Smith, all the ten candidates have finished their presentations, but it seems that none of them matches our brand image well. What shall we do next? Does this mean that all your efforts have come in vain?"

Nate abruptly stood up, shouting, "Christine, from May to now, how much fund have I granted you? And how many people have I arranged for you to use? Is this what you've got? If we'll miss the prime time to present our brand to the public, can you shoulder the responsibility?"

Christine did not say anything. Mona opened her mouth again, "President Law, it's a pity for all of us that things are going on like this. In fact, I've contacted two persons earlier, and they are interested in representing Rainbow. Could I ask them to come in and give us a presentation or something?"

In Nate's eyes, Christine's image had become tarnished. On the contrary, his trust in Mona had increased. Therefore, he nodded in agreement at Mona's proposal.

Soon, Mona brought a tall girl into the hall. Her performance was not extraordinary yet not bad. At least, Nate did not get mad.

Then, the second person entered the hall. It was Lora.

She was wearing a long burgundy dress and nine-centimeter heels. Half of her curly long hair was hanging about her shoulders while the other half was hanging down on her chest. Her outfit and makeup actually belonged to the latter half of the last century, and she was giving off a strong vintage vibe.

Nate's eyes lit up in an instant, and he asked curiously, "What's your name? What are you good at? What are you going to show us?"

While maintaining an elegant smile, Lora cast a seemingly casual glance at Christine. Though the others had no idea, Christine could tell the provocation in the other woman's eyes.

Then, Lora answered, "I am Lora Smith. I'm good at showing the beauty in myself, and I think most girls should do so. As I understand it, it is also Rainbow's tenet to bring out the beauty inside its customers."

In the hall, there were several Rainbow dresses on display. While speaking, Lora walked over to one of them and stopped in front of it.

She continued, "I don't think today is about showing yourself. The most powerful way to speak for a brand is to wear it on me."

With that, she yanked the shawl right off the dress, covered it over her shoulders, and turned around, leaving Nate a perfect side view.

With her eyes narrowed, Christine stared at Lora. She had to admit that her sister looked gorgeous. It was kind of bold to yank the shawl off the dress, but Lora did it beautifully, and her movements were eye-catching and touching.

Two seconds later, Nate started to applaud. "Very well!"

Mona beamed with joy, feeling satisfied with Lora's performance.

She then asked, "President Nate, can we decide on the brand ambassador of Rainbow now?"

Nate replied in a cheerful voice, "Sure. Fetch the contract. Rainbow needs a brand ambassador as eloquent and elegant as the girl. Most importantly, she has absolute affection for Rainbow."

Just then, Christine walked over to Nate, saying, "I don't think she is a suitable option."

Mona hurried to say, "Director Smith, none of the ten candidates you'd chosen is suitable. From May to now, you've wasted almost half a year. It's not easy to find a person that President Law is satisfied with. What makes you think that she is not a suitable option? Or are you saying so only because you think I'm taking credit for your work? Well then, you sign the contract. I am still your subordinate."

What a drama queen! Christine revealed a cold, calm smile

Christine replied, "Lora is fine, but I think there's someone more suitable than her. President Law, why don't you be patient and give the last person a chance?"
