Chapter 3 Let's Try It Tonight

Oscar's voice was mellow, magnetic, and exceptionally pleasant.

But Carole had lost all sense of the charm in his voice, and only ducked back as hard as she could and threw helpless eyes at the taxi driver. "Help me! The man is a rogue!"

The driver laughed and, without even looking back, replied, "You guys go ahead flirting. I don't hear anything!"

With that, he turned on the car music and turned it up to the max.

Oscar smiled in satisfaction and held up a finger to the front of Carole's mouth to stop her from yelling. "Honey, I thought you like me being a rogue to you."

"What do you want?" Carole's body was in Oscar's grip, and there was no way for her to resist.

"Let's try it tonight!" Oscar let out a wicked but charismatic smile.

There was no warmth in his eyes.

His eyes were like deep pools or black holes, bottomless and chilly.

Carole could not help but shudder all over.

She suddenly thought the man in front of her was not an ordinary rogue.

Perhaps he was a pervert who enjoyed torturing women?

Carole thought of the news she had seen the other day, which was about a psychopath who had abused and killed several girls under the pretext of love.

How was she going to get rid of him?

Carole broke into a laugh. "Mr. Morris, for tonight's trial, let's go shopping!"

"Good girl!" Oscar slapped her little face and asked the driver to pulled up the car.

After getting out of the car, he kept clutching Carole's hand to prevent her from having any chance to leave.

They went to a counter that sold sex supplies, and Oscar actually asked the clerk to explain the pros and cons of assorted condoms' brands.

He was nearly 1.9 meters tall, with slender thighs and an upright figure, giving off an aristocratic demeanor.

Faced with such a perfect man, the shop assistant was extremely attentive and patient in answering his questions.

Carole hid behind him and lowered her head, and her face flushed.

Oscar eventually bought lots of condoms of different brands and got ready to leave with a full plastic bag.

Carole's mouth twitched.

Then, out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a bathroom not far away. She hurried to say, "Mr. Morris, I need to use the ladies' room!"

"I'll go with you!" Oscar replied.

Carole gawked at the man. "But that's the ladies' room..."

"Shh!" Oscar reached out his fingers, tossed her long hair, and lowered his voice to say, "Don't think I don't know what you're thinking. You're trying to get rid of me!"

At his words, Carole calmed down a little.

She pushed his hand away and smiled. "Now that you know, I'll tell you the truth. Actually, I've been married for two years now, but I've never met my husband, much less know what he looks like. The reason I came on a blind date was to force him to show up."

"So?" Staring at Carole, there was a hint of coldness in Oscar's eyes.

"So, I can't walk into a trial marriage with you!" Carole explained with a grave expression on her face.

Carole had never told anyone except her best friend, Rachel Booth, about the incident.

But Oscar clearly was not convinced.

He lifted the woman's chin with his finger, forcing her to look directly at him, revealed a vague smile, and then said, "That's even better! Let's be extramarital lovers. Okay?"

"You!" Carole flew into a rage and stomped her foot. "Mr. Morris, if you keep stalking me, I'm calling the police!"

"Up to you! But I hear that Mrs. Watson, who is lying in the hospital, doesn't seem to be doing very well!"

"You investigated me?"

"I just happen to know!" Oscar replied indifferently.

Carole gritted her teeth and poked a finger into the man's chest, threatening severely, "You bastard. If you hurt my mother, I will not let you go!"
