Chapter 19 Aanisah, You Are a Confident Woman

Aanisah was in a daze.

It was true that she had sworn to become Johnny's aunt by marrying Andrew two hours ago, and that she would punish Peggy and Johnny in that title.

Only when she calmed down did she realize what a stupid thought that was.

"Johnny has once spoken of loving me forever, and you see the result now," said Aanisah scornfully, and the smile on her face seemed to be a bitter one, "I appreciate your kindness. You may have me on your side in the future if there is anything I can help!!"

"Well, what a woman with gratitude!" Andrew answered with a laugh, "Does that mean you want to divorce me?"

"Divorce?" Aanisah was surprised and looked at him confusedly.

"I believe you have seen the marriage certificates."

Aanisah eased herself, "Although I am not a wise woman, I can still think with my brain. You cannot fool me easily like what you did to others."

"Really?" Andrew raised his brows and put up a mysterious smile, "Aanisah, you are a confident woman!"

"If that's all, I am leaving now. Thanks for your treat..." Aanisah managed a charming and confident smile and left from Andrew's side.

Andrew did not stop her. Instead, he was watching her leaving until he could not see her anymore.

There was a light breeze outside the window. Andrew poured himself a cup of dry red wine and took a sip. Then he turned to pick the marriage certificate up from the tea table and opened it slowly...

His lips curled up slightly at the smiling girl in the photo.

There were two simple but eye-catching lines beside the photo.

Holder: Aanisah Brook.

Date of registration: XX/ XX/ XXXX.

It was today!

Aanisah found herself have nowhere to go to after leaving Wood's house.

At home, the stepmother was ready to sell Aanisah; at school, Bess had finished the drop out procedures for Aanisah. As for Johnny...

Aanisah felt her heart ached and that she seemed to be a pitiful homeless woman overnight, reflecting what she had experienced during the past several days.

Noticing that it would turn dark, she was hesitated and wondered if she should call her friends and asked for staying overnight at their places.

Before she made up her mind, a car behind drove at a high speed and pulled over by her side.

The door was opened, and Johnny stepped out of it.

Aanisah's heart ached at that familiar figure. She did know that things could not return to what it was before. Yet something special occurred to her uncontrollably.

She had to admit, habit... was not a good thing.

She was not accustomed to the fact that he had betrayed her, nor did she persuade herself about that.

"Look who is here?" Johnny walked and stopped in front of her with a scornful smile, and looked at her up and down and mocked, "Does Mrs. Wood run away from the house? Why... Did Andrew beat you? Or he found out you are not a virgin at all and kicked you out?"

Aanisah's clenched her fists when she looked at the familiar yet alien man in front of her.

She wanted to punch the bastard with her fist, yet she was clear that violence could not solve any problem. Let alone she could not overpower him

"Johnny, you must have mistaken me for somebody else," Aanisah said without expression, "Or, you forget yourself and do not respect the superior outside?"
