Chapter 18 Elephants Don't Eat Meat
"You got a problem?" Andrew raised his brow to look at her.
"You mean, me?" Aanisah pointed at herself in surprise.
"Is there anybody else here?"
"But..."
Andrew stood up from the sofa and walked to her side, "From the moment you took me to be your fiancé, you should have foreseen this!"
"But that's because..."
"Because that happened accidentally?"
"Yes!" Aanisah nodded quickly, "I was forced to do so. Now that the red envelope issue has been solved, the transaction between us should be over..."
"Aanisah Brook, I'm afraid you have misunderstood the relationship between us." Andrew interrupted her. His voice was faint but with irresistible majesty, "To be fair, the beginning between us is caused by you, so... it's my turn to decide when to end this!"
"But..."
"I just helped you!" Andrew raised his lips slightly, revealing an inscrutable smile, "As a businessman, it is impossible to make a loss-making business. I believe you know it well!"
"But you just said you didn't do it for me!" She remembered what he had said to her clearly, even if he did help herself.
"Yes, I didn't do it for you, but the result is the same!" Andrew looked at her jokingly, "Otherwise, you would have been sent to Africa by Old Master Wood to feed the elephants!"
"Elephants don't eat meat!"
"..."
Andrew was taken aback and almost choked to death with a mouthful of water.
"Aanisah, are you provoking me now?" Andrew narrowed his eyes and looked at her. It seemed that he still underestimated this girl.
"I'm not!" Aanisah denied. Only a fool would provoke a rich, powerful, and unreasonable man.
However, after experiencing so much, she had no intention to have anything to do with the people of the Wood Family, whether it was Johnny or Johnny's uncle!
"That's good!" Andrew turned around and handed her a piece of A4 paper, "This is my personal preference. Memorize them just in case."
Aanisah reflexively took the paper, which had dense words on it. But she was in no mood to look at the details because she had thought about neither getting to know this man in the past nor having a relationship with him.
"Mr. Wood, please don't get me wrong." Aanisah put the paper aside, her face indifferent slightly, "I was wrong to have used you. Thank you for saving me in the hotel and protecting me in front of Old Master Wood. But that doesn't mean that I am going to be with you."
At this point, Aanisah paused. She didn't know how others get along with their saviors. But at least she couldn't sell her soul or body out of gratitude!
Although this man was handsome enough and rich enough, she didn't like him!
In the previous three years, apart from Johnny, she never liked anyone else. But from now on, she wanted to live her own life by herself. She didn't want to be interfered with by anyone, or the other way around.
Especially she would not have anything to do with anyone from the Wood Family!
"It seems that you are drawing a clear line with me." Andrew glanced at the A4 paper that was left out by her. Although it only recorded part of his work, this woman really didn't even look at it. To be clear, things written on it were something that many women in this world dreamed to get, "Well, don't forget what you have bragged in front of Bess Pinky."
