Chapter 19 Franklin Behaved Like a Hoodlum

Franklin curved the corner of his mouth and walked leisurely towards the bedroom.

As he opened the door, a ray of gentle light cascaded.

He chuckled when he saw that woman was rolling over in the quilt from the door.

"You are back?"

Hearing his voice, Christine turned suddenly with embarrassment.

Then her face lit up when she saw Franklin was back with a bottle of honey jujube, which was in a fine package.

Franklin could not hide his smile when he saw Christine was staring at him as if she was a baby bird waiting for food.

Christine held out her hand and she saw Franklin lift that bottle high before she smiled at him.

"Do you want it?"

"I do."

That "want" meant wanting him.

Christine understood what he said and blushed.

"You are a hoodlum." She murmured.

"I have to behave like a hoodlum in front of my wife," Franklin corrected her, got one honey jujube, and put it in her mouth. Then he stooped to have a bite of her ear and whispered, "However, you are not in good health now. When you are fine, see if I will leave you any strength to get out of bed!"

Christine swallowed saliva and felt something strike her heart,

"Don't ask other men for help from now on. I have told you that you don't need to ask for their help as my wife. Understand?" Franklin uncovered the quilt, brought her in his arms, and let Christine rest on his arm.

Christine nodded. And when her back touched his warm chest, she frowned and moved aside.

Franklin hugged her at her waist and said discontentedly, "Are you afraid of me again?

Why he said "again"?

Her heart trembled and he held with strength tightly.

She didn't feel the pain but said heartily, "I have a cold and don't want you to have a cold too. Stay away from me."

"Well..." Franklin was both angry and amused. He put his hand on her eyes and turned off the light, "Sleep!"

Christine suppressed her smile and slept in a comfortable posture in his arms while leaning against him closer.

Franklin put his hand at her waist and found that she was so thin.

He decided to ask Mrs. Miller to cook more meat for her to eat and gain some weight. Or she might faint after one time in the same way she did on their first night.

Christine did not know Franklin was planning to feed her before he "ate" her!

She was exhausted after the whole day and drinking the soup.

Christine didn't know when she fell asleep, surrounded by his smell.

But she didn't have a good night.

She was in pain even she was just breathing. And she was lying on the operating table again.

Two people were taking away her last kidney, and her blood was winding all over the ground. She saw Franklin was about to come in and the door was opened slightly. But Gloria tricked Franklin away with sweet words.

No!

She was not dead!

Frank, look at me; I am still alive...

"No, please don't go... I am alive..."

"Christine, you have already died! Don't you love Martin? Now you have a chance to stay with him forever! And your final wish is satisfied!"

"No, I don't want to die!

"Frank, save me please!"

A pang of pain struck Christine and she felt her life was taking away bit by bit by Martin. Her body was heavy and clumsy because she could not breathe. And it was empty and hurt in the place where her kidney should have been.

She saw Martin flirting with different women with her kidney in his body. And he took away both her kidneys!

Christine's mind was filled up with hate now and she wanted to kill Martin with her hands, but she could not manage to do that.

Christine was helpless. The only thing she saw was that Franklin opened the door and brought light to the room. He walked by her side and held her wrist tightly with desperate eyes. He tried hard to stop her from bleeding, but he could only watch her die.

"Christine, you are not allowed to die!"

"I haven't brought you home!"

"As long as you stay alive, I agree to divorce you."

"...Christine," his husky voice was lingering around her ears. He hugged her cold dead body and buried his face on her body. He gnashed his teeth with endless hostility, "In this life, in the next life... I will not allow you to leave. Even if you die, I will not allow you to leave me alone!"

"Wait for me there and don't forget me. Stand there and wait for me. Do you hear me?"

"I will find you when I take revenge for you."

"That's a deal?"

Christine felt her heart was pulled out of her body and torn apart.

And it threw her heart into a meat grinder.

It hurt.

Christine felt her shoulder was wet. Franklin was crying.

He was crying.

A man of 1.9 meters in a suit hugged her body, knelt on the ground, and cried like a homeless child.

Other men following Franklin could not help mourning and their eyes turned red.

That dark scene came again as if it wanted to torture Christine and let her know the feeling of regret.

The terrible weather made the world more depressed.

There was a quiet and peaceful cemetery at the back of Frank's Villa.

Christine saw her picture on the tombstone. She was dead!

Did she die again?

Franklin stood in front of her tomb and slowly crouched down. He habitually stroked her photo with his left hand wearing a ring. His voice was low, gloomy, and hoarse, showing his ferocity and exhaustion: "Chris, the bullies are all dead, and they are all in hell."

He kissed her photo on the tombstone, and in his eyes was his deep love for her, "But don't be afraid of them, I will come with you. You can only adopt my surname forever!"

And he took out of a knife and pointed it at his heart. Then he pulled it with strength. He had pierced his heart before Christine could exclaim.

"There is one thing that I never tell you, that is, I love you..."

"No, stay alive, Please..."

This was not the ending they should have!

Then the scene changed, and she saw Franklin lying in the blood. And she looked down only to find she was the one who was holding the knife and who pierced his heart.

She was fooled by Gloria that he didn't love her, that he married her for the Stocks' share of the company, that he treated her as a pet.

And now it turned out her so-called trusted family forced her and Franklin to a dead end!

Christine would never be fooled by Gloria anymore.

Again, Christine was helpless and desperate. She wanted to hug Franklin while Johnny and Gloria grabbed at her and kicked her out of the door.

That desperate feeling pressed her chest like a stone, making Christine suffer a lot.

In a dizzy, she felt someone was pulling her towards the light...
