Chapter 4 Complete Disengagement

Mary hurried to a coffee shop.

A young woman in exquisite clothes and with a delicate face sat there.

"Your daughter is pretty and nothing like you." Shirley looked up and down Mary .

Mary was dressed up like average middle-aged women. Her face was as big as a pancake, her waist as thick as a bucket, with a tough feature.

It was hard to imagine how could she give birth to such a fair-skinned and slim daughter.

A flicker of contemplation flashed across Shirley's eyes.

In terms of appearance, why did Nancy and Mary have nothing in common?

Mary gave a flattering smile, "Miss Lake, my daughter looks pretty. Otherwise, how would she be worthy of the junior master of Lake Family?"

Shirley showed a hint of disdain in her eyes and spoke coldly, "Worthy? How would your family be worthy of mine?"

Mary nodded hurriedly and smiled in a flattering fashion, "Miss Lake is correct. We are a minor family not worthy of wealthy families like Lake Family. Nancy is blessed to gain the favor of Junior Master Lake."

Shirley was delighted by her flattery, "If Nancy is fortunate, she might bear a son."

Shirley thought to herself. Since her brother was retarded, he couldn't seek marriage from an equal family.

Although her family was poor, Nancy was quite pretty. Her brother had to bend himself.

At this, Mary looked quite happy.

Just then, the cell phone suddenly rang.

Shirley took out the phone from her Louis Vuitton bag and pressed the answer button.

In a short while, she hung up the phone, and her beautiful face turned icy cold.

"Mary, you got a good daughter!"

In an instant, Mary's heart was in her throat.

Did that damned girl create any trouble?

"She ran away!" Shirley said coldly.

Mary turned pale with fright!

"I'll give you another chance to find your daughter, otherwise you don't get a penny!" Following her threatening words, Shirley went away.

Out of anger, Mary turned ghastly pale.

The sure money was gone. She had every reason to be angry.

She was anxious to tear Nancy apart.

"Nancy, you dumb ass, where did you go? Are you trying to make me suffer? If we don't get the money from Lake Family, we couldn't even afford a new house. If we don't have the house, no girls would marry your brother!"

As soon as the line was through, Mary let out a torrent of abuse.

Nancy immediately hung up the phone.

Lying in bed, she looked ashen.

Just now, the man was restless and relentless.

Although she had no sex experience before, she did read some romance novels.

He was like a character with astonishing stamina.

The man only stopped to receive a call.

Nancy vaguely heard something like an important meeting.

Without further ado, the man left.

Before his departure, he saw traces of blood on the bedsheet.

He showed no pity.

What a cold-hearted man!

He even said coldly, "For money, is it worth to sell your most valuable thing?"

Nancy didn't want to speak or explain.

She somehow lost her most precious thing, and any word wouldn't help.

Before going away, the man left her a cheque.

Nancy didn't even care to take a look.

Money brought disasters. For the sake of money, her mother even forced her to sleep with a retarded man.

She hated the man very much.

But after receiving Mary's call, her hatred subsided a lot.

At least, because of the man, her mother's plot was frustrated.

As the eldest daughter, she did everything for her family.

She helped Mary do the housework every day.

When Mary watched TV or slept, she would wash the dishes and mop the floor.

Mary prevented her from entering high school to save money.

She did part-time jobs to raise her tuition fee, and then Mary stopped complaining.

Without family support, she also earned her tuition fee for college.

Now for the money from Lake Family, Mary forced her to sleep with a retarded man. Her mother was relentless even though Nancy knelt and begged for mercy.

Mary simply tied her up and brought her to the hotel.

That call was like her farewell to her family.

Complete disengagement!

Nancy got out of bed, felt a sharp pain from her legs, and gasped.
