"Stabbed!" Jecinta said from the other side of the phone. "Yes we are at the hospital right now." Amal answered her back staring at the Sham who was lying on the hospital bed her t-shirt half torn and her black bra was visible. He avoided raising his eyes till that point so he just switched from her face and the bandage on her stomach. "I'm on my way Amal." She said then hunged up. Sham was awake and all they did was stare. Sham's eyes were swollen and the wound was quite shallow so no internal damage, the doctor had clarified and he knew. Military had given him lots of tips on wounds and he had lots of marks in his body from wounds he had obtained in war. "That was Jecinta?" She asked smiling. Amal nodded, he didn't know what to feel, angry, sad, he just wondered why she had just fixed her whole heart on someone as dangerous as that so called Dennis. "Are you mad at me Amal?" She asked noticing he was not smiling back. Immediately police walked into her room. "Ma'am you need to write your statement, the doctor said you are fit to." They said as they took out a form and handed it over to her. Amal stood aside and watched her as she wrote the statement. Her beauty was just undeniable. Her eyes even though swollen they just looked perfect on her face and her lips, her pink lips made Amal bit his lower lip imagining her telling him 'I love you.' he smilled on his own. He had never thought of such before, after Sophia caused him so much pain before her death. "Thank you Ma'am we promise to handle this case effectively, we are leaving." One of the police men said as they walked towards the door. On opening the door Jecinta bulged into the room. "Sham!" She called out. On seeing her she walked towards her and hugged her tight. "What happened?" She asked looking all worried. She was dressed on sweats and a white t-shirt. She looked pretty but Sham was the prettiest. Amal's eyes moved to her bra and his heart pounded faster and he breathed heavily. He felt his erection taking control and he walked away to the washroom. He washed his face took a deep breath as he looked at his face from the mirror. He wanted her so bad but she was in love with someone else and she was trying so hard to get him back. He felt heartbroken at the thought of that. She had called him immediately Amal left and they talked as she tried to fix things but they ended up arguing and he stabbed him. That was Sham's side of the story. He clenched his fist on the thought of Dennis and felt like meeting him and giving him lousy punches but he was just a nobody to Sham and it hurt. It hurt him really bad. He walked out of the washrooms and walked back to Sham's room. The doctor was there. "She is fine, she just has to take some drugs to ease the pain and she'll be better in two days at most." The doctor said. Amal decided to take chances he had to show her that he loved her he had to open his heart to her to get a chance, maybe she would consider him. "Thanks Doc."

"It's fine, the nurse will be here in a minute to apply an ointment on the wound then give her drugs."
