Jecinta knew she was pretty drunk but not as drunk as Sham was. She sat at the taxi trying to figure out what the heck made Franklin cut his trip short. Of all the days it had to be the day she should be there for her best friend. Thinking of Sham, she had left her with this secret admirer she had trusted out of nowhere. What the heck was wrong with her what if she gets raped or stubbed by someone in the bar. She brushed the thought away and gave herself a consolation that Sham was fine, better than her. She got home and paid the taxi driver. She was smelling mint, just trying to cover the fact that she was drunk, I mean a little bit drunk. She walked towards the house door and breathed. She knew anything was going to happen today. With the kind of temper he had talked to her with on phone she was in hell lots of trouble. She knocked then opened the door slowly and got into the apartment. On seeing no one she tiptoed to the bedroom when someone coughed and looking behind from the kitchen Franklin was standing there his hands folded on his chest. 'Oh Jesus' she sighed. "Where are you coming from?" He asked. Jecinta took her shoes off first. "I told you Frank, I was having a meal at a restaurant with Sham....."

"Sham..Sham..Sham!! How many times do I have to tell you that girl is a snitch, Jecinta!" He said loudly. Jecinta was getting bored with all this nonsensical talk that will just cause another fight, she walked away to the bedroom. "Walk away because that is what you hell know. Walking away from matters." She had his voice curse from behind. She walked to her room and decided to take a shower and brush her teeth at least to ease her. While in the shower the bedroom door banged and she knew he was in the bedroom. "So you go out and have a meal with your so called best friend and leave me here hungry woman!" She heard him yell again. "Frank I didn't know you were coming back home, you called me when you were already home, how would I know what to do seriously."

"Okay then I'm hungry, so just hurry up taking that stupid shower and cook for me, the way to a man is through his stomach and not just bedroom matters." He said. Jecinta remained silent, she was getting fucked up by all these yells each and every day. Ever since Franklin lost his job at a hospital, he became a rude bustard. She was the breadwinner of the family but Franklin never appreciated that, though Franklin was an irresponsible jerk. When he had money, he was like the devil himself, rude, arrogant and selfish but when he was broke he pretended to be the most loving and loyal husband. At some point Jecinta thought maybe he never even lost his job.

She got out of the shower and put on sweats and a blue shirt and walked to the kitchen to prepare something. After serving the meal on the dining table she left to go and take a rest after all she had to go to work the next day and she had just seen enough for the day.

"Foolish woman, you are supposed to be sitting here and watch your husband eat, did your mother even teach you how to handle the man of the house." She heard him curse from the dining and she just slept. She needed her beauty sleep after all.

Jecinta walked out of her apartment in a hurry carrying her handbag. She was late for work and Franklin won't let her soul rest. He kept on nagging and cursing how bad she was leaving her husband in the house alone all day instead of being with him all day because he was on a trip. 'A one night trip...heaven's.' she thought. Luckily she got a cub that was dropping her neighbor off so she hopped in and settled after giving the location of where she was going to. She then took her phone in the process of trying to call Sham, she was already calling. "Hey girl?" She said receiving the phone call.

"Hey Jecinta, who the hell did you leave me with." She asked. Jecinta laughed. "Amal your new crush isn't he handsome and one you would love to have a baby with."

"Yeah he is and something funny is that he didn't do anything to me, I just woke up the way I was last night and I don't feel anything underneath, he's a good guy I guess."

"Somebody is finally noticing someone." Jecinta said giggling. "Cut it off asshole, so you are at work?" Sham asked changing the whole mood of the conversation. "Not yet, on my way. Sham I'm sorry I had to leave early last night but it was because Franklin was back and you know he just has a bad attitude about you so I had to get home before he becomes red furious with me but I'm still here for you girl like I always have." Jecinta said trying to apologize for the stupid mistake she made which just turned out to be a good thing. "It's okay you left me in good hands don't worry he's pretty muscular and kind and sweet better than you." They both laughed. "I love you girl, I need to go, I'll check up on you after work. Don't think about Den please Amal is there." Jecinta said. "Okay girl I love you more." Sham said then hunged up.
