Chapter 32 Returning the cheque to you
When she was at work, Laura Green saw the new waiter in the aisle on the top floor. She was in a good figure, bulged and curled up, and she was also graceful when walking. Wrapped around her body, causing some people to worry that the button would break open at any time.
She saw Laura Green too, but she did not greet her.
Before leaving for work, Laura Green found out that the phone was not on her body, and went to the locker room to find it. Still, she was still worried. She sat down and thought about it. The last call was from her grandmother. It landed in the car.
Think about a headache. There are so many things today. There's no way she could just borrow Sarah's phone to call her number.
The phone rang several times before it was answered, a very magnetic male voice.
"Hello, I'm Laura Green. My phone is on yours!" Laura Green said quickly.
"Yes!" There was only a short word!
Laura Green was shocked for a moment, then went on to say, "Where are you? I'll go over and get it myself!"
She seemed to hear someone shouting on the phone and the sound of clinking glasses, presumably he was socializing.
"Where are you?" The other end asked.
"I just got off work!" Laura Green replied.
"Then wait there!" The call hung up and there was a busy tone.
After making the call, Laura Green returned the phone to Sarah, changed clothes in the locker room, left the bar, and sat on the chair beside the door, counting the cars coming and going because it was a little boring.
After waiting for a while, a car stopped by her side. It was the Rolls—Royce she saw in the afternoon, as if he had changed the car often since he was photographed by paparazzi.
Laura Green stood up and walked over. There was only Paul William in the car. He looked at Laura Green and said, "Get in the car!"
Laura Green looked around. His car was very punchy. She didn't want herself being noticed and was looking around. Then, she opened the car door and sat in.
Her cellphone was placed in the co—pilot's seat. She picked it up and put it in her bag.
Sheturned to look at him and said, "Trouble you!"
Because of her carelessness, she even let this busy person return her phone to her on his own.
Paul William did not say anything, and did not look back. He started the car himself.
Laura Green saw that he had not let her off the car. He probably wanted to bring her back to the London Park.
She quickly said, "I won't go back to theLondon Park tonight. I'll go to stay with my classmates!"
There was a suffocating silence in the car. Laura Green looked at him. His side face could not see any emotion.
After a while, he said, "Where's the address?"
The voice was a little indifferent. Laura Green pursed her lips and reported the street name where Julia Miller lived.
Actually, she wanted to explain to him that she would go back for a week, but now she couldn't say anything.
His words were too few, his emotions were hard to figure out, and the last time she broke through the window paper, the relationship between them became awkward and delicate.
Along the way, Laura Green did not say anything more. He just stared at the rows of neon lights on the side of the road. The cold air in the car was too cold, and she was cold.
When she reached her destination, she did not rush to get out of the car. Instead, she took out the five million check that had been with her. Even when she was in trouble and needed money, she did not use it. This was something she felt was right.
"I'll give it back to you, thank you for your kindness!" She handed the cheque to him and said with a smile.
