Chapter 3 Washing her eyes
After leaving Green's house, it was already late. Laura Green took a deep sigh of relief.
On the way, she heard a phone rang and took it out of her bag. It turned out to be Facebook from Julia Miller. Julia Miller was her university roommate and the relationship between them was very good.
She opened it and saw that it was a drooling expression.
Julia Miller: Mr. William is really handsome! You didn't come to school this morning to celebrate the anniversary!
Laura Greenwas confused. Thinking about Jane Green being enchanted by him today, andthe first time she saw that man, she was obviously superior to them.
So she replied: Apart from being an idiot, is there anything serious?
Julia Miller: Of course! Female gentleman, congratulations, you won the first—class scholarship this semester.
Laura Green thought of her money.
Julia Miller: A fan of money...
Laura Green looked at the phone and smiled. The two of them chatted about each other. They had unknowingly arrived at the London Park. They took the phone and paid to get off. Laura Green walked into a two—story European villa. She had been lived inher new residence for three months after she got married.
Entering the house, Tia was busy in the kitchen. Seeing her return, she quickly came out and asked, "Madam, are you back, have you eaten dinner yet?"
Tia was a servant from the William Family's residence. She was very friendly and kind to Laura Green.
"I have eaten!" Laura Green smiled at her. At night, the Green family's dinner was a buffet. She ate a little beef and snacks.
"That's good. He's back, too. According to Nathan Hill’s words, he had drunk a lot of alcohol in the evening. I've cooked a bowl of ginseng soup. It's already done. Help me bring it to him!" Tia entered into the kitchen again.
Laura Green paused for a while.
Before she could even think about it, Tia had come out of the kitchen with a tray in her hand and told her, "Be careful, it's a little hot!"
Laura Green nodded, took her hand and slowly walked upstairs.
Tia looked at her back with some hope in her eyes. She really liked this little lady. She was beautiful and polite. Unfortunately, she and her young master had no emotional foundation. They went to the United States to discuss for a project cooperation. They had just returned yesterday and it was a full schedule today. The chances for them to meet each other was few.
Laura Green walked to the study room on the second floor. Just as she was about to knock on the door, she realized that the door opened as soon as it was pushed.
The man in the white shirt was sitting on the leather sofa by the window, looking at the documents. He had a few buttons on his chest and looked lazy.
"Tiastewed the soup for you, let's drink it hot!" Laura Green said as she walked in front of him.
Paul William looked up at her, then snuffed out the cigarette in his hand and reached for the bowl of soup.
Laura Green saw that his hands were slender and clean, his wrists rolled up with a precious steel watch, showing the charm of his business people. Under the heat, his eyes were handsome and his nose was handsome ...
This reminded her of Jackson Baker. There was a hint of happiness in her heart. She suddenly thanked Paul William. Fortunately, it was him.
"What are you looking at?" When Paul put the empty bowl back, he saw Laura Green staring at himself.
The man's voice was mumbled. Laura Green smiled and blurted out, "I'm washing my eyes!"
Paul William raised his head. Under the yellowish light, the girl in a yellow floral dress had a skin—like appearance. Her black eyes drooped slightly, and her eyes were pure with a hint of style.
"Is this a compliment? The girls are so flattering now!" He lit a cigarette, his attitude elegant, and his tone a little nagging.
Laura Green did not expect that he understood her words. The pale blue smoke was filled in front of her eyes. She blinked and her ears were a little hot. She slowly said, "I only compliment you!"
After looking at those deep eyes, it took a lot of courage, because it seemed that they could see through all her thoughts.
