Chapter 56. You Friend was not Bad
Diana walked out of the hospital, looked back at the location of Dean's ward, and sneered in her heart. She thought that this might be her duty to let Dean and Kelly feel uncomfortable.
With so many days after Henry's funeral, no one noticed her about her job. Therefore, she decided to check out Amanda’s idea when she returned to the residence on weekend.
Dean's hospital was not far from Sam's hospital. A few stops by the subway, and Diana stopped by to visit her uncle.
When she reached the ward, she accidentally found out that James was actually in her uncle's ward, and he was chatting and laughing with her uncle.
"Why are you here?" She was so surprised that she could not believe her eyes.
"I pay a visit to your uncle." James said like a long-known friend.
"Diana, you're here. Come over and sit down." Sam looked pretty good today. He smiled and said to Diana, "You friend is really interesting. You should introduce him to us earlier."
Diana was confused and decided to temporarily ignore why James knew that her uncle was in the hospital and came to visit. She smiled and walked over and said; "Uncle, you look very good today. Why is my mom? "
James smiled and said: "Auntie has a friend who comes to the hospital to see Uncle Sam, Diana. Auntie may go out to send them just a moment. You might miss each other on the elevator."
"It's possible." Diana always felt strange. In short, it was weird for James to appear in this ward. She couldn't help it and asked in confusion: "Well, how do you know my uncle is here? "
James smiled and said: "I did send you to the hospital the last time? I happened to have a friend who works in this hospital. He saw me, and I know about your situation by the way." He smiled very brightly again. Somewhat cautiously, he said to Diana, "Don't you mind if I ask about your situation?"
"Do not mind." Apart from these words, Diana really did not know what to say. First, James was the person who saved her. Secondly, her uncle seemed to like chatting with James. Then, uncle was looking at her with a smile.
She turned her head and looked at her uncle, Sam. A bad idea came into her mind: Uncle, shouldn't he have misunderstood something?
"If you want to see my uncle, why don't you tell me?" Diana smiled, but the smile did not reach her eyes.
James smiled brighter than her, "Aren't you busy all this time? You don't have time to come out when I ask you to watch a drama. I don't have anything to do anyway. I'm just here to accompany your uncle."
With this tone, Diana always felt that it sounded a little awkward, but she did not know where it was.
"You guys, go out for a walk if you have time. Yes, look at the drama, look at the movie. You don't have to come to see me every day. I'm alright," Sam added.
Diana was not a fool. She immediately knew that her uncle must have misunderstood.
She laughed and said: "Uncle, don't be too sentimental. If Mr. James has time, he will be with his girlfriend. Where can he come to see you every day? "
Sam looked at James, pouted and smiled, not saying a word.
Diana was helpless. In front of James, she could not directly ask her uncle, "Are you misunderstood?"
"I don't have a girlfriend yet," said James.
Diana looked at him subconsciously. "You don't have a girlfriend?" She didn't believe it. "If you don't have a girlfriend, there are only two possibilities."
James asked, "Which two are possible?"
Diana said: "First, you're too picky. Second, the girls are blind."
James and Sam looked at each other then laughed.
Diana hadn't seen her uncle laugh like this for a long time, and she was very happy besides being surprised, but she still had to remind him, "Uncle, you smile a bit lighter." Moreover, her uncle was not just a normal heart attack.
Sam waved his hand. "I'm fine. I've not been happy for a long time."
"You guys are still talking." At this moment, Vivian pushed the door in and saw Diana. She suddenly felt a little cramped, but this crumbled soon disappeared. "Diana, you're here."
Diana replied, "Mum, I haven't seen uncle for many days, so when I'm free today, I come to see."
Diana was shocked to see how James interacted naturally with her mother and her uncle. He did not look like someone she had just met. She was stunned and watched James take the initiative to help her mother when she had not reacted. When her mother put away the clothes, she was finally calm.
"Mum, I have something to tell you." After she greeted her uncle and James, she pulled her mother into the living room. She felt that it was still easy to hear what she was talking about and pulled her out of the ward, so she walked to the end of the corridor.
"Diana, do you want to ask about Mr. James?" Vivian asked.
Diana knew that there was a problem. "Mother, what's up?"
Vivian said, "He's come here every few days. Diana, I think he's a good friend, good character, and polite, and it seems that he likes you."
"Stop." Diana did not let her say down, "Mother, what are you talking about? You know my situation. Who do I match? I can't match anyone."
"How can you not match?" Vivian anxiously said, "Isn't Henry dead? I thought about it, we'll sell the house again and return the money to them. You and their family won't be related in the future. I’m also paying attention to the ordinary ward these two days. I'll let your uncle move back when a bed becomes available. "
Diana looked at her mother in shock. Unexpectedly, she had already thought so much. She asked the most critical question, "What about uncle's heart? Hadn’t changed?"
At that time, it was because of the huge power of the Miller family that it was not difficult to find a heart, so Vivian would kneel in front of her daughter.
Vivian turned her head and said: "Mr. James said that there are more people who are willing to donate organs abroad than at home. He is willing to find a friend to help us."
Diana was stunned.
Vivian continued: "I know that we're calling out such things, but now that Henry is dead, it's a burden for you to stay in the Miller family. It's better to give them back the money, and you start a new life. "
