Chapter 69 You don't want to sleep anymore?

"Okay, another hand."

Her hand was released. Sage Eudora still hadn't recovered from the words he just said.

She lowered her head to look at her right hand that had been drugged. She pursed her lips and handed her left hand over.

The disinfectant fell on it, and the pain made her cringe again.

Ellison Davis, who was dealing with the wound, looked at her, "If you don't want it to hurt more, then don't move."

Sage Eudora's face was a little hot as she softly explained: "I didn't want to move."

It was just a subconscious reaction.

However, she didn't dare to say those words. The man in front of her slightly pursed his lips. The line that connected them was filled with a cold intent. She looked at it for a moment and didn't dare to continue speaking.

There was no sound in the room. After a while, her left hand was released.

Ellison Davis rolled the cotton swabs into a ball, raised his hand and threw it into the trash basket beside the dressing table.

He retracted his gaze, and turned his head to Sage Eudora "Did you sprained your ankle?"

Sage Eudora was stunned and quickly shook her head, "No, no."

She was lucky. Jumping down from four to five meters was not fatal. Fractures were common.

But downstairs was the lawn, and not long after she had sprayed the water, when she jumped, the grass was soft and cushioned, except that her hand was bruised and there were no other injuries.

Ellison Davis looked at her for a while, then stuffed the disinfectant and cotton swabs into the medicine box. He carried the medicine box out and quickly came back. Seeing that she was still sitting there, he opened his mouth and said, "You don't want to sleep anymore?"

Sage Eudora froze for a moment, shaking her head repeatedly. She subconsciously crawled to the bedside, forgetting that there was a scratch on her palm. Just as she touched the blanket, the pricking pain made her unable to stop herself from gasping.

Before she could react, Ellison Davis grabbed her by the waist.

"Mr. Davis —"

Sage Eudora had just called out to him when the man threw her onto the pillow.

He looked down at her, then turned and went into the bathroom.

Sage Eudora looked at the tightly shut bathroom door, then lowered her head and looked at her hands. Her brows slightly twitched, not daring to stare blankly anymore. She quickly pulled on her blanket and laid down inside.

Soon, there was another person on the bed. With a sound of turning off the lights, the room sunk into darkness.

They were out of sight, and the other senses were even more intense.

The man was right beside her, and Sage Eudora could even hear his breathing.

Sage Eudora couldn't help curling up her hands again. The palms of both her hands were bruised, and she felt pain whenever she moved.

However, the pain was far less than the time he fell down.

When she had jumped down, she actually hadn't thought of anything. She only knew that she and Kyrie Simmons had already divorced and that she wouldn't be bullied like in the past.

Yes, bullying.

Queenie Eudora bullied her, and even Kyrie Simmons, who had never met her before, bullied her after the marriage.

She didn't know what she had done wrong. It didn't seem right at all.

Her existence was like a mistake, and no one would care about her.

Everyone wished that she would be cowardly, but the man beside her thought that she wasn't tough enough and didn't cry out for pain.

"It's pretty good that you're screaming for pain right now. Why can't you just yell for pain when other people are bullying you?"

"No one cares."

"I'm not a human?"

Sage Eudora had lived for twenty—two years, and this was the first time someone had ever despised her for not crying out for pain.

She closed her eyes and found herself crying.
