Chapter 2 You Have to Bear This Child

After figuring out their intention, Jill knew that they were sent by the man who made her pregnant. Thus, she didn’t resist and fellow them to a seaside villa.

“Where is he?” She searched around and didn’t find the figure. So she turned around and asked the men who brought her here.

“Miss Grace, you are mistaken. I took you here not to see sir.” The man’s answer disappointed her.

“This kind of thing has plunged my life into chaos. Shouldn’t he turn up and give me an explanation?” Thinking of her unexpected pregnancy, Jill felt wronged.

“Sorry, you can’t see sir as you want.” The man’s tone was very formal.

“Ah, what a joke!” Jill laughed out loud, “Who is he? Even he is the president, he should give me an explanation!”

The man opposite her smiled politely but didn’t answer her.

“Since you took me here not to see him, why did you catch me?” Jill asked again.

“Miss Grace, don’t get me wrong. We didn’t catch you. We invited you here to nourish the fetus.”The man corrected her.

“Nourish the fetus?” Jill felt that she must hear it wrong.

“Yes.” The man nodded, “We are sure that the father of the baby in your belly is our sir. So our sir said that you must give birth to him.”

“For what?” Jill got so speechless. That coward not only didn’t show up, but also asked her to bear the baby.

“Sir said you could ask for any condition.”

“If I want his life, can you give me?”

“Miss Grace, don’t give me a hard time.”

“So ridiculous! He asked me to bear a child whose father I even don’t know. Isn’t he giving me a hard time?” Jill trembled with anger.

“I can’t expose too much, but I can make sure that it will benefit a lot to you and particularly the child after you give birth to him. I’ve said all. You just stay here to nourish the fetus. You can order any servant here.” After that, the man walked to the door.

“Don’t go! Tell me, who is the man?” Jill wanted to chase him, but stopped by two servants.

She watched them walk away, with nothing she could do.

“Ask the man to see me. Even though he has a great power, he has to follow the law! Without my permission, that was a rape! No one has the privilege!” She cried at the top of her voice, ignoring that those men had left away.

“Miss Grace, you can’t say it was a rape.” A servant who was in her forties or fifties covered her mouth immediately, as if she said some disrespectful words.

“You know who the man is, don’t you?” Jill looked at her with great expectations.

“Just stay here to nourish the fetus. Don’t think too much.” That servant looked at her, “Whether you want or not, you have to bear this child!”

Seemingly she was very respectful to the man.

Jill couldn’t help wondering: who was the father of the child in her belly?

......

Front yard of the villa.

A man was standing with his back to the villa.

He had a tall and straight figure, with a dark suit wrapping his strong body. The diamond sleeve buttons shined brightly in the sunshine, which showed his dignified identity.

“How is it going?” He opened his thin lips, looking at the man who came out of the villa.

“I’ve done what you ordered.” That man bowed slightly and answered him.

“Let them take good care of her. I don’t want to see any accident.” The man ordered.

“Please rest assured. The servants who take care of Miss Grace are selected by strict standards. Everything will be fine except...” He bit his lips.

“Except what?”

“Miss Grace said she wants to see you.”

See him?

The man’s obsidian-like eyes shivered slightly and then his face returned to normal. He said in a disdainful tone, “She still has the face to see me after doing such a thing?”

He didn’t like her, but for the baby in her belly, he was confident to get him!

“Got it.” The man beside nodded respectfully.

“She can ask for any condition. As long as she doesn’t go too far, you help her to handle it and don’t need to inform me.”

“Yes.”

In total despair, Jill went to stand in front of the window and sort out her ideas. Looking through the window, she suddenly saw two persons standing in the front yard.

The person standing opposite her was the man who brought her here. At the moment, he was respectfully reporting something to a man beside him.

He must be the man who made her pregnant!

Out of women’s instinct, she made a quick judgement.

That man stood with his back to her so she didn’t see his face, but from his slim figure and powerful aura, he was definitely not an ordinary person!

Right at this moment, that man suddenly seemed to turn his head.

Was he going to turn back?

Jill felt her heart was in her mouth abruptly.

However, to her disappointment, that man changed his idea. He lowered his head and got in the car next to him.

Was he going to leave?

In a panic, Jill turned around and rushed to the stairs.

“Miss Grace, please stop!” Seeing her running downstairs madly, the servants got greatly frightened, for fear that any accident might happen to the child in her belly.

Jill didn’t care about their words. At this time, there was only one idea in her mind-stop that man!

But when she arrived at the ground floor, the motorcade in the front yard had left away with a series of tracks.

“Come back! You come back!” She cried with anger, accusation, helplessness and puzzle in her voice, but what responded to her was the motorcade out of her sight.

......

Jill meant to get an abortion but she couldn’t get out of the villa door, let alone go to the hospital. And people from the hospital were arranged to come here to check her up regularly.

She tried to ask them the mysterious man’s identity, but all of them were reluctant to tell her any information about the man’s identity.

She thought that the man would appear sooner or later as long as she was carrying this baby. However, after she had been pregnant for more than nine months, this man still didn’t turn up.

Who was he? Did he regard her as a surrogacy tool? She had no idea about the man’s thought.

She had been thinking of it while going downstairs. Accidentally, she missed her steps and rolled down the stairs.

“Ouch!” She cried out of pain.

“Miss Grace!” After hearing it, a servant rushed to her immediately, seeing watery blood flowing out from her thigh roots.

“OMG, blood!” The servant pointed at her thighs and changed her face out of fear.

Jill looked at where she pointed and saw blood running out from her body.

“Save...save my child!” Seeing so much blood, Jill said in a faint tone and then passed out.

One day later, she woke up.

What leaped to her eyes were snow white ceiling, snow white quilt cover, snow white sheet....Everything was snow white. Even she appeared ghastly pale due to excessive loss of blood.

At this time, there was a twisted pain in her abdomen.

Child!

She suddenly recalled the situation before she fainted and reached out her hands to touch the lower abdomen. It was empty! The child was gone!

Where was her child?

She was so frightened and lifted the quilt, trying to get off the bed. But she just did a cesarean delivery so her sudden movement made her wounds torn open, reducing her back to the bed. That pain made her prefer to die.

“Don’t move!” Lily held her back to the bed at the sight of it.

“Sister Lily, where is my child? Where is my child?” Jill didn’t have the mood to ask why she was here. She just held her arms, saying in a trembling voice. Originally, she wanted to get an abortion, but after spending so much time with the fetus, she already had feelings for him.

“The child was taken away the moment he was born. I didn’t see him, either.” Lily sighed.

“No! My child!” Hearing her words, Jill knew that the child must be taken away by the mysterious man. Ignoring the pain on her abdomen, she pulled out the needles and got off the bed.

“Jill, where are you going?” Lily chased her.

“I’m going to find my child. How could he take him away from me without my permission?” Enduring the pain, Jill staggered to the door.

“Do you know where to find him?” Lily asked.

Jill was taken back upon hearing it.

She didn’t know the man’s name, what he looked like and even where to find him! Though she had been living in the villa prepared by him, she never went out so she didn’t even know the villa’s location.

That was to say, she didn’t have any slightest clue of the man!
