Need to clear my head

Chapter two

Alpha Kayden POV

I felt a tap on my shoulder, bringing me out of my trance state. I batted my lashes several times, and that was when I realized that I've been hallucinating all along. Just what is wrong with me?

I sighed softly and closed my eyes, while resting my head on the wall, trying to recover from the shock. The incident that happened seconds ago, keep replaying in my head, and I could only get confused about the whole thing, I think I'm losing my mind, as much as I want to see the seer, and tell him about this, I know that wouldn't be a good idea, because he's only going to piss me off, I don't want to do something nasty to him.

"Your highness..." Came the feminine voice again, and I snapped my eyes opened. I've totally forgotten that someone was still in the room with me.

Opening my eyes, I was welcomed with a pair of hazel eyes, staring back at me, with so much concern and worries, displaying on them.

"Hazel?" I called softly, and sighed.

"Are you ok?" She asked worriedly, while staring at me questioningly, like the answer to her questions, were written on my face.

"Yes I'm fine, was just...was just..." I touched my forehead frustratingly, when I was left with nothing to say, I just want to be alone now, I really need to sort myself out.

"I want to be alone Hazel." I groaned quietly, as I stood up on my feet, and walked over to the bed, before slumping on it, burying my face in my palms.

I felt her presence for a few more seconds, before I heard her footsteps, and in the next few seconds, the door opened and closed.

Hazel is my only sister. Mom died just three months after she gave birth to her, leaving her under my care. I've been watching her grow, giving her all my protection, she's my precious jewel, the only person that matters to me in the whole universe, and I would do anything, to see her happy.

My mind drifted to what Rodolfo said, and I just couldn't help the scoff that escaped my throat, he must be joking around, and he won't like what will happen, if I lose it. My head is just hurting from thinking about everything, and I think going out to clear my head, wouldn't be a bad idea.

Standing up from the bed, I walked elegantly into the bathroom, had a quick bath, and came outside, before getting dressed.

Walking over to the mirror stand, to check out myself, I sighed softly and stopped, after recalling that I just smashed it a while ago.

I stride to the door, and pulled it opened, before walking out of the room. Stepping out of the room, I walked through the hallway, till I got to the living room, which is located downstairs.

"Greetings, your highness." The maids, who were on a queue in the living room, all looked terrified, as they saw me.

I'm in no mood for answering any greetings now, so they can keep it for who needs them. Striding to the door, the guard at the doorpost, opened it, even before I got close, and I stormed out of the house.

"Your Highness..." Came Hazel's voice from behind me, and I sighed softly, before turning around to see her standing at the doorpost, having a questioning and worried look on her face. Dam! I thought she's sleeping already.

"Hazel..." I walked back to her.

"It's late already, where are you going to at this time of the night?" She asked worriedly.

"Go get some sleep, I'll be back." I said softly, and with that, I turned around and started walking away, not sparing her another glance.

"Greetings, your highness." The guards keep bowing slightly, as I walked through the veranda, but I never gave any of them attention. Walking over to the parking lot, I hopped in one of my cars, and turned on the ignition, before driving out of the castle...

Inside the very large room, is a big beautiful bed, laying almost in the middle of it, flowers of different types, used to adorn the room, a big chandelier light, hanging up in the ceiling, making the room more beautiful. On the beautiful mirror stand, are cosmetics of different types, and anyone would know with just a glance, that the room belongs to a lady.

The door to the bathroom suddenly flung open, and a lady in her mid twenties, came rushing in, with a towel wrapped around her chest, as her body dripped wet.

She rushed to the dresser, and sat down, as she grabbed the blower, and turned it on, before beginning to dry her hair. Minutes later, she was standing in front of the mirror, fully dressed in a skimpy gown, which barely covered her butt, her blonde hair, cascading down her shoulders, a pair of silver clear heels fitted on her feet, and finally, a light make up on her face, going with the flow of the atmosphere.

She walked over to her closet, and threw it opened, as she was welcomed with a mask, laying inside it. She picked the mask, and wore it over her face, before striding out of the room...

Ruby POV

I took a cab to the club, and as soon as I alighted from the car, I headed straight to the entrance of the club house. Stepping into the club house, I was welcomed with the buzzing sound of music, and the smell of alcohol, gosh! I hate being a stripper, but this is who I am, and that fact can't be changed.

I cat walked to my usual spot, and stood before the stripping pole, while holding it, as everyone kept cheering and applauding.

I waited patiently for the music to start again, and once it started, I began dancing, twisting my body, while wrapping them around the pole. Wrapping one of my legs around the pole, I pushed my waist forward, and threw my head back, in a way that it was almost touching the ground, while whining my waist, earning a loud applaud from the people present, and soon, people started dropping money on the floor, as I now danced on money.

Moving away from the pole, I placed my two hands on my knees, while going down slowly, twerking like never before.

The dancing session finally came to an end, and I left the club house, not after making sure I packed all my money.

My name is Ruby Turner, the only child of my sick mom. After the death of my dad three years ago, mom has been diagnosed of lung cancers, and has been hospitalized. Being the only one, taking care of my sick mom, which includes feeding her and myself, and also paying for her hospital bills, I was left with the only option of being a stripper, as that's the only way I can earn enough money. I'm not happy being a stripper, it's what I condemned in the past, but I never knew I'll one day, work as one. I'll make sure to stop it, once I've raised money for my mom's surgery.

Stepping out of the club house, I almost froze on my spot, as I was welcomed with a figure, standing just a few paces away from the door, with the back, facing me...
