19 HE'S HUMAN

ATLAN

Atlan could feel that the human was getting closer and closer to him.

Though she still has no idea about his identity, but he likes the fact that she always wantedhim near her.

The first time she willingly touched him, he felt a some tingling sensation that made him believe she was special. Some nights, he went over to her bed just to watch her sleep. How beautiful she looked, even while sleeping. He gets tempted to lay with her sometimes and he does so without her knowledge.

Just like tonight, she slept peacefully on the bed with her long hair sprawled delicately on the pillow.

How tempted he was to touch her hair, caress her beautiful face and luckily get to have a taste of her beautiful soft lips.

Suddenly, she turned in her sleep, letting out a soft moan, which made him believe thst she was having a dream.

He slowly jumped on the bed and laid right beside her, while watching her sleep.

There's no doubt that Atlan was gradually falling for the human, her scent so made him want to snuggle into her, but he knew better than to do that.

When she played with his fur or rubbed him, he felt calm and wished her hands won't stop caressing him. She might not know what her caresses does to him, but he knew.

Atlan watched her sleep, until he fell asleep as well.

While he was deep asleep, he suddenly felt warmth spread all over him, and because he was conscious of his environment at every moment, he opened his eyes, only to find an arm wrapped around him.

From the scent and how comfortable he felt, he knew who exactly the arms belonged to. In other not to wake her up, he stayed that way and let her sleep peacefully.

They slept in the company of each other, until the break of dawn. Atlan always woke up first, so when he woke up and saw that she was still sleeping, he quickly slipped away from her.

Atlan decided to head out of the room, only to find his beta just outside his room door, in his wolf form.

Atlan was surprised to see him there, but he knew that for whatever reason he came, must be important.

“Greetings, Your Highness.” Atlan responded, but quickly led them away from the room.

They arrived at the balcony where they usually met to discuss.

“What is the matter?” Atlan asked. He could see that his beta was disturbed about something he knew nothing about.

Ezra heaved a long sigh. “While going for a run this morning, I decided to venture farther into the woods, only to find the most shocking sight ever.

Atlan creased his brow, staring at his beta in a flummoxed state. This was really disturbing because he believed whoever was doing this must know about his existence, else why will a werewolf decide to become a wild beast in the forest. And worst of it all, they peg the deaths on the ancient beast they believe, lived in the forest.

Atlan had not left the castle to the woods for more than a month now, so there was no way the death of those humans will be linked to him.

“Who do you think might be responsible for the deaths?” His beta shook his head. Their castle has long gone into extinction that he wasn't sure if anyone else knows about his castle.

That night, Atlan decided to visit the woods in other to find out things for himself. But before he left, he decided to visit Raquel, who looked happy whenever she saw.

“Hey Wolfe, come over here.” Atlan rolled his eyes, she's treating him more like a dog than a wolf. If only he could just tell her he's not some pet, but then, he has no choice. She's the only one who could tame his beastly side.

He remembered when she asked about the reason he was calm, compared to those ruthless wolves she heard about.

If only she knew how cannibalistic he was way before her arrival. She must have thought it was normal for him to eat up a full Panda.

Atlan left the castle to go make

some observation about what the mysterious wolf impersonating him was up to. He left at night because that was the same time this beastly side shows up.

Since he was far from Raquel he knew he will become a beast again, but it was better this way, so long as he could find the other beast.

Suddenly, when Atlan was approaching the deeper part of the forest, he felt a sharp pain on his head. The pain was so severe that he had to pause. It was strange that he was feeling such terrible pains at that moment.

While he was dealing with his head pain, his bones began to go numb, thereby making it hard for him to stand in all fours.

This was strange, why was this happening to him? Atlan began to growl loudly as he could no longer bear the pains that were surging through his body.

His bones began to snap painfully, while his eyes also began changing its color. His fangs came out instantly as if he was about going feral.

This was not the way he turned into a beast. He never felt such immense pains before. What the hell was wrong with him?

Shockingly, he felt sharp pains from his legs and arms. Atlan tried to get back on his feet, but he couldn't stand on all fours anymore. Atlan slowly peered down at himself painfully, but couldn't find his paws.

What he was saw was something whitish and long, and in pairs. Atlan's heart sank at what he was seeing. He shook his head, thinking he was in a dream. Slowly, he brought down his gaze to his hands, only to find white long arms.

What the hell! Atlan immediately made to get up on his feet, only to fall back down. He couldn't use his legs at that moment. He stretched forth both hands, observing them carefully.

Was this some kind of a dream? He slowly brought his hands tohis face, and to his greatest shock, he felt smooth skin, bringing his hands downwards, he felt his lips and not his snout. He took the other hand to his head, only to discover a long hair.

It can't be! He's human!?”
