RAQUEL

Raquel woke up only to find herself in an unknown room, looking around the room, she just realized she was still at the beast's abode.

Damn it! What had she gotten herself into? Why is it that among all the people he should have to capture he decided to make her his target?

She just realized that she's been tied to a bed, looking around the room, she just realized that it's not a regular room, it looks royal but ancient.

She looked at the ancient closet at the right-hand corner of the room, and she found some old garments, which looked like those ones used in the movies.

What kind of place is this? Could it be that she's been kidnapped by the beast, so he could have her heart?

But she heard that the beast only eats the kidneys and hearts of little kids.

How come they want her heart? Raquel panicked. She thought of how to leave the room, but the chains to which she was tied with had no way of breaking.

Even the chains looked ancient. Just what kind of place is this?

“Hey! Is anybody out there?”

Everywhere fell silent like there was no one around.

“Hello! Get me the fuck out of here now!

She screamed at the top of her voice and suddenly, the door flew open.

She immediately sat up straight, even though the both of her hands her been tied apart from each other.

She anticipated for who is to come and to her greatest shock, it was a human.

This doesn't look right. Could he be the one who kidnapped her?

“Hi!” Came his deep but shallow voice.

He looked so huge with hard muscles, his eyes are violet blue. He's really a not that bad hunk.

Raquel immediately snapped out of her thoughts at the knowledge of him killing her very soon.

“Get me out of here, you sick pig!”

“Woah, calm down, human. There's no need to panic”.

“I shouldn't panic? The hell! I'm not panicking, but I promise to kill you even before you try to take any of my organs, do you hear me!”

“Oh, I see, you must be thinking I'm the one who brought you here”.

What is he talking about now? He's not the one, so there are others too?

Oh no, this can't be happening to her.

She had to look for an escape route as soon as possible before things get really messy for her.

She watched as he approached her slowly, her heart started beating fast.

“Don't you dare come near me, you son of a gun!”

She started trashing with her legs since it wasn't tied up.

“Calm down please”.

“Don't tell me to calm down, release me this minute!”

“I should have listened to his Highness when he told me to shut you up.”

“What! Who are you people and what do you want from me?”

“I'm sorry my lady, but I don't have the powers to let you go”.

Who is that who is actually keeping her here and what exactly for?

“Listen, if you do not let me go, I'm not sure you and whoever is behind you will get away with it.

The huge guy in front of her only scuffed at her, obviously not scared of anything. Raquel could not believe what she had gotten herself into.

Who would save her now? Suddenly, the guy in front of her began looking for something she had no idea about.

With the way he was going, she sincerely hope it wasn't what she was thinking about. She's a soldier and so, she knows how things work around here.

Without wasting much time, she began putting her training to use. As the soldier she was, she was taught on how to set herself free from whatever chains she was being tied with.

Raquel began freeing herself from the chains, even though it was painful and she knows her hands will be bruised.

Just as she had thought, he brought with him a piece of clothing.

Ha! He's definitely trying to bund her lips. In his dreams because she would fight him with everything she's got, and make sure she escapes from this place.

She watched as he approached her with pleading eyes. What the fuck is he trying to do?

“I know that you know what I'm trying to do. But I don't want to disobey the rules.”

Raquel didn't say a word, but rather just watched him approach her with the piece of clothing. Since she had successfully taken the chains off, she can now fight for her escape.

And just as he was about bringing it down towards her, she aimed for his hands, and clamped her teeth deep unto his flesh.

"Arrggh! He screamed, but she wasn't just going to let go. She bit harder until he quickly got off the bed and once he did, she immediately frees her hands from the chains and bolted out of the door.

Coming outside, Raquel became confused because she could hardly tell where she was. The environment she found herself seemed pretty strange to her.

Where was she to go from here? The sudden clattering of chains immediately made Raquel pick on her heels, even though she had no idea where she was going to.

After running for some hours, her hands and feet began to feel sour. Her hands which she forcefully took out from the chains became terrible bruised while her feet which had no shoes in them were also bruised by dead trees and stumps on the ground.

She looked round the forest which she finally found herself in, but nothing around seemed familiar.

Just what is this place? It looks so old and ancient that she wondered if she was yet in another nightmare. But if that should be the case, she should have woken up by now. Why is it taking so long to wake up?

She raised her head up to the sky, and according to what she was taught in the army, nightfall will be approaching soon because the bird bats have woken up, and they were up flying in their masses to feed.

This was so because the bats are only seen in the sky during the day, when nightfall approaches because they are nocturnal birds.
