The next class started soon enough and Rhea used this opportunity to go through a lot of significant events from her past life in her head since she didn’t really have to listen so diligently, she had graduated from one of the best university in her past life while undertaking two majors at the same time and even without that she had always been a genius which was one of the things she later realised Nancy was so jealous about.

She felt so sad and lonely at the life she had led but at the same time, she was glad at this new lease in life ‘I’ll make this new life worth it’ she thought to herself.

She had no intention to let anyone get close enough to her to hurt her in this life, her main goal was to pay back everyone who had hurt her in their own coin and make worthwhile friends with boundaries.

They had two more classes and it was soon time for their lunch break “Nannan, I'd like to go to the clinic, head on to the cafeteria without me, I’ll join you soon” she told Nancy as they headed out “You aren’t feeling too well?” Nancy asked with a worried expression on her face as she looked over Rhea’s body and even turned her around.

Rhea chuckled and jokingly smacked her hand away “I’m alright, I just want to log my stomach upset and check if I need some antibiotics and what not” she explained “go on ahead, I won’t take a lot of time” she said while waving to Nancy.

Rhea walked briskly to the clinic as she needed to go to see Mr James after leaving the clinic and she didn’t want to take too much time enough to make Nancy suspicious.

"Rhea, how are you?” the nurse’s face lit up as she saw her enter the clinic, Rhea was a very sweet and respectable girl and she enjoyed seeing her “Miss Emma” Rhea called out while beaming too, she really liked Miss Emma as she was very considerate of the students and even more considerate of her always sending for her and giving her supplements and tonics close to exams periods or when the school had a heavy workload for her.

She had helped tutor Miss Emma's younger brother when she was in her second year and she remained ever grateful till date “what brings you here?” she asked.

“I had a stomach upset this morning and missed a class and want to lodge it so I can get a class permit to show the teacher” she explained calmly.

Rhea’s heart warmed at the worried expression on Miss Emma’s face that was followed by a series of “how are you now?, do you feel pain anywhere?, sit let me have a look at you” she said while leading Rhea to sit and checking her all over and only after seeing that there was nothing wrong with Rhea’s colour or temperature did she let out a sigh in relief as she proceeded to help with the health pass card for her stomach upset.

“Here you go, come back tomorrow I’ll make your favourite for you and bring it along” Miss Emma said and handed the card to her while Rhea smiled happily at the promise of the food that Miss Emma gave her and walked briskly to the teacher’s section of the school.

She met Mr James just at the entrance of his office and called out to him “Mr James!” she called out her voice a tad bit higher than normal and she could see the slight frown that crossed his face immediately he turned around “what brings you here Rhea?” he questioned she didn't know if the frown was because of her raised voice or because of seeing her, either way she continued with her plan.

“ I missed my favourite class this morning due to a stomach upset. I came to turn in my health pass and ask a question on a part I didn’t understand after reading through this morning's notes” she said in one go with a little pout of her small red lips.

She had added the part of her having her question to make Mr James see her how upset she was at her missing the class, thankfully the teachers knew her as one that was inquisitive “didn’t Nancy say you didn’t need my lectures anymore” he asked with a raise of his left eyebrows and Rhea didn’t hesitate to show a look of sheer surprise with her eyes widened and a hand over her wide open mouth “ how could I possibly not need your lectures, they are simply the best” she retorted while Mr James observed her for a few more seconds before requesting to see her health pass and then returning it to her after confirming the authenticity.

“You didn’t just miss a class, you missed an impromptu test also Rhea” he said sternly with his eyes fixed on her face as if to find any suspicious reaction and Rhea decided to show a look of horror and panic on her face this time “ the one time I’m sick and miss a class is just when an impromptu test comes up” she grumbled and after a few minutes of silence, Mr James decided to believe her story “you can come tomorrow for your own test but I wouldn’t be entertaining your questions today” he said and without waiting for her reply entered his office and shut the door while she let out a sigh ‘ thank Goodness that went well’ she thought and headed in the direction of the cafeteria.

By the time she got to the cafeteria she estimated that about half of the time allocated for the lunch break had passed so she went to get her lunch before bothering to look for Nancy since the usual queue was literally non-existent at this point and she only had about three people on the line in front of her.

"Why is our class goddess fetching food herself” she heard someone say as he stayed behind her on the queue and she turned to see Lucas with a goofy charming grin on his face, he was one of their school most handsome guys probably the first but since his family was unknown nobody could place him on the first pedestal but she remembered that sometime in the future they had discussed his family origin in their class group chat after graduation but she couldn’t quite remember as she was absorbed in her career and studies then.

“This goddess enjoys getting her things done herself” she replied without glancing back at him since she had to move forward to get her meal.

She got a plate of fries, chicken and a bottle of water and left the line, she wanted to look for Nancy but hesitated and picked an empty table, ‘the pain Nancy has put me through is a lot, I need to find a way to reduce the time we spend together if not I’m not sure I can keep up this act with her’ she thought to herself while eating her meal only to be distracted by Lucas dragging the seat across her and settling in “I’m honoured to share a meal with the goddess” he said without looking away “ I didn’t invite you” she retorted, studying his face to figure out why he was talking to her, this situation never occurred in her last life, Nancy was always around her so she didn’t really get to make other friends which made her very attached and forgiving to Nancy and would always overlook her misconduct since she had no other friends.

Lucas was about to reply when someone plopped into the seat beside Rhea and his already open mouth snapped shut immediately as he resumed eating his meal, Rhea turned to look at Nancy, she was certain she was the one without even looking, might be a thing with having lived an entire lifetime with her but she could feel Nancy with her eyes closed.

“Rhea, I was waiting for you here the whole time, I can see you ditched me for better company” she whined glancing at Lucas then at Rhea as if to gauge what was between them but both of them were quiet and facing their meals until Rhea had no choice than to respond “ the clinic didn’t want to issue me an health pass since I didn’t head there when I had the stomach upset and it wasn’t treated by them” she paused looking up to see Nancy’s and caught the small glint of happiness that flashed through her eyes “so it was declined” she concluded shaking her head in her mind.

“I was too dumb” she thought while Lucas studied both of them, raising one of his eyebrows in surprise before returning to his normal facial expression with neither of the two girls noticing.

Rhea couldn’t be happier when she heard the bell signalling the lunch break being over, and she stood up almost immediately leaving her half eaten meal and went in the direction of the classroom.

There was only two classes after the lunch and Rhea was glad to have it pass so quickly, she had so much to ponder on like how she ended up here that she needed to do in private, she had pinched herself several times to be sure this wasn’t her reliving her life in a dream and that she wasn’t in some endless time suspension after death.

She and Nancy usually used two hours after classes for self-study but she was in no mood for self-study so she excused herself from Nancy with the excuse that her stomach didn’t feel so well again and she headed to the two per person room she stayed with Nancy to get her alone time.

After she got to her room, the first thing she did was strip and head into the bathroom she had always loved showers and baths, they were a perfect way for her to unwind and clear her thoughts after ensuring the water temperature was just what she wanted she proceeded to soak herself ‘oh how nice to have my skin back’ she thought grinning to herself her face brightening and showing her perfect dentition, ‘how did I get back here’ she murmured the smile leaving her face, she was really puzzled ‘this defies normal laws’ she said running her fingers through her hair in mild frustration she really wanted to know what caused it.

Rhea and Nancy had kept being best friends even after high school in her last life and while Rhea was a genius in Fashion designing, she longed to be a model, her body was the perfect model standard and her face looked like it should be a sin thus she had always longed to walk the runway, to bring life to the runway she walked on, but while Nancy was only mediocre in fashion designing she wanted to make a name in it and thus she had convinced Rhea to take a course in the shadows for fashion designing to hone her skills even further and go to a Arts school, that way she could take her modelling course as a main and do fashion designing on the sideline.

It had seemed like a flawless plan, only at that time she had no idea the web that Nancy was spinning for her.

She had excelled in her modelling while also becoming a big name in fashion designing that was unknown, everyone wanted to know who the genius ‘Aehr’ was! Her designs were flawless and earth shattering and several times she had modelled her designs herself and even proceeded to design jewels also.

She was at a pinnacle of success and even had a boyfriend that she had been madly in love with, at this point Rhea was crying, she had been so stupid she thought and burst in even more tears ‘Nancy really made use of me’ she pouted amidst her tears unreconciled with the life she had lived.

“Stupid girl” she heard a condescending yet childish voice say and she shrieked in surprise splashing water all over the entire bath room floor but couldn’t even bother about it as she looked around to find the source of the voice and when she didn’t see any trace of a soul she tried to calm herself ‘was I hallucinating’ she thought but before she could soak herself back in the bath she heard the voice again “so stupid” the same condescending childish voice said the arrogance in the voice clear.

This time, Rhea felt she heard the voice come from her body so she looked down her body for any suspicious items but there was really nothing on her apart from her necklace which she had since she was a child and subconsciously rubbed on it and her eyes opened wide as an almost transparent floating figure of a small cute girl appeared before her looking down at Rhea’s bulging eyes with what appeared to be a scowl if her cute face had allowed it “humph! Such a dumb master” she said in distaste “no wonder you were tricked into death” she added looking down on Rhea“ don’t you dare” Rhea roared in anger, her death was a really painful one, one she didn’t even want to recall, she couldn’t bear to see this little Lolita mocking her.

“I don’t dare? I had to save your stupid self, expending all my saved energy since your stupid self couldn’t even awaken me all your life” she scoffed her eyes glaring holes through Rhea “you were lucky that stupid bitch had ordered some men to shoot you letting some of your blood trickle to your necklace and awakening our contract when you received a bullet in the chest“she said in disdain to Rhea obviously looking down on her.

Rhea was stupefied at the revelation ‘awakening??’ “What awakening? What are you” she asked looking at the Lolita suspiciously.'' You can’t refer to a godly princess like me as what, do you lack manners” she scoffed. Rhea looked at the almost translucent figure dubiously ‘godly princess? She was a princess?’ and then she laughed out “what nonsense are you spouting out? Aren’t you clearly a little girl ghost” she said glad that she was finally able to figure it out ‘I guess I can see ghosts now since I reincarnated’ she thought to herself.

“You are the ghost, you are the little ghost girl” the little figure said with pure anger in her eyes as she stared daggers at Rhea “ungrateful little witch”she muttered before disappearing back into the necklace from Rhea’s face.

Rhea was really shocked ‘reincarnation then this, is this some fantasy novel’ she thought as she stroked the necklace trying to see if she could see inside the necklace and before she knew she was in an unknown space, she looked around trying to find out where she was ‘is this inside the necklace or is the necklace a teleporting instrument’ she thought walking around the space it wasn’t too large but it was bigger than her entire room about 2.5 by 5meters space, then she saw a pond and saw the little Lolita from just now floating on the pond.

The pond was glistening and shiny like something that shouldn’t be found in this world “you are not allowed here, unless you acknowledge me properly” the little Lolita said with a pout and raised chin as if to prove her authority.

“Where am I?” she asked, “ well you are in an ancient space that was created by my first master and has been passed down and modified according to times’ the little girl said with pride and Rhea was sure that if she had possessed a more solid form, she would have pushed his chest out also.

“What type of modifications” Rhea asked in curiosity and after waiting for a while without reply she ached to spank this irritating little spawn that ignored her and talked to her in any way ‘am I not supposed to be the master here’ she wondered recollecting the numerous web novels she had read during her spare time in her past life “little demon, do you suppose I don’t have ways to break this contract if you don’t talk for all I care, I already reincarnated with all my memories. Do you suppose I need extra baggage in any way?” she threatened studying the little child’s face to know if this was an effective method and she was relieved to see the child look at her in panic.

“hmmph, stupid human, who wants to be contracted to you, you can go ahead and break it” the child said in one go.

She was disappointed that this was a wasted time and effort mission and since she couldn’t stay here any longer since Nancy would arrive any time soon it would be too much a risk especially since she had no idea how this space worked and it also wasn’t worth having a space that the little being in it disregarded her also “then I’ll go ahead and do that, besides I don’t have time to be spend with you” she said standing up from the squatting position she had assumed to talk to the little thing.

After her bravado, she realised she didn’t know how she was supposed to leave here and so while trying to figure out how she was supposed to leave here “wait” the little girl said with a pout “you don’t have to bother about the time, it works different in here” she said looking at Rhea apprehensively, it didn’t really want such a gullible master ha! but what could it do, heavens handed her to this one already ‘her mother was so excellent, how could her offspring be this terrible’ she thought with an internal shake of his head and decided to just accept it as a favour to that woman “a day out there is seven days in here, so the time outside is seven times faster than the time in here” she explained after seeing that Rhea didn’t want to talk again.

Meanwhile Rhea just couldn’t believe what her ears just heard ‘how was that possible’ she thought and after a while she was only able to let out a “really!” with her eyes wide in disbelief and amazement at the same time.

She wanted to stop herself from believing it but it was just so easy to accept, not with everything she had seen today “you can’t be lying to me right?” she let out to receive further confirmation and was delighted when the child nodded his head vigorously to let her know that was the truth

“So will you tell me more about this awesome space that belongs to me of which I suppose you are the ‘honourable guardian” she said intentionally adding the guardian part to ensure that the little girl felt important and it worked because the girl nodded her head vigorously in response “ this space is the best dimension in the world and as the honourable guardian of it, i'll ensure to let you know everything about it” the little girl said with pride and arrogance and continued immediately.

“Apart from its distinctive time features the bearer of the space is empowered with countless knowledge gathered from the beginning of time into the space and is also granted with the jade eyes that sees through anything, the bearer and owner can also appear and leave here with a thought in only the spirit form for now..”

“for now?” Rhea asked cutting the little girl off “yes for now, as you grow and complete missions and cultivate, the space grows in size and capabilities too and you will later be able to enter the space with your physical body also” the girl explained his demeanour obedient and excited, a stark opposite of what he had been not too long ago “and the modifications?”

Rhea asked with one of her eyebrows raised in question “the modifications were made by my previous master who had attained a shocking level of growth and could thereby assist the space to make it more modern and adapt to the technology of this current time, thus the space cannot just give the bearer a jade eyes it can also allow the bearer to access the world wide web with a transparent screen that is a self-functioning android accessible and visible to only the bearer and even has a camera” the little Lolita added the last part excitedly remembering all the amazing things her master had built down for her daughter but even Rhea was just as excited ‘was all this real.’

‘How do they work?” she blurted out subconsciously “the space is connected to you so everything about it can be controlled from your mind, you can activate anything through your mind when you need it” she explained.

“Then what is your role?” well I’m a guardian of the space and also an accomplice for my bearer, you can consult me when you need anything or help with any mission, although I have my limits but I will always help you in the best way I can'' ‘besides your growth is related to my growth’ the girl said thinking the last part to himself and deciding not to tell her yet to avoid her being cocky or too arrogant.

Rhea nodded her head continuously, this was a lot to take in and yet she couldn’t wait to try it out. It felt so surreal and magical to her and she put the first command into action by telling her mind she wanted to leave the space and although she had believed the little girl all along she was still surprised when she found herself back in the bathtub the water has cooled down terribly and she jumped out of the tub almost immediately to dry and dress herself.

‘I want every information on Daniel Arnold she said in her mind and jumped excitedly when an almost transparent screen appeared in front of her with letters and figures dancing through and brought out all the information on him and her eyes and aura turned degrees colder at the sight of the boy in the search result ‘how did the space know the exact Daniel Arnold I wanted to see’ she pondered “because the space system is giving results tailored to your mind as you are both connected already, thus giving you precise information tailored to what you want to know exactly'' the familiar voice of that little girl appeared and explained in her head “ I see” Rhea said nodding her head vigorously, she really couldn’t count how many times she had nodded her head today.

Having eaten only a little, Rhea decided to get a nap before Nancy arrived to call her for dinner which was always followed by the night study session organised by the school for the seniors. She slept off as soon as her head hit the pillow, the rollercoaster day having taken a toll on her.
