Chapter 1 She Caught Him in Bed

"Tomorrow, you are going to marry that bitch. What shall I do?"

A woman's voice came from the big office lounge, while the man next to her was topless, hugging the woman tightly and trying to comfort her.

"Don't worry. How can that woman compare with you? Every time I wanted to touch her, she looked assaulted. It was really boring. How could it be as comfortable as being with you?"

"Really?"

"Of course! When did I ever lie to you?"

The woman finally smiled through tears.

No one noticed that the room door was open with a slit, revealing a dismayed face as if she couldn't believe what she saw.

"Miss Blake--" The receptionist greeted her enthusiastically with a decent smile.

Jessica Blake ignored her. She passed by the receptionist expressionlessly like a walking corpse or a puppet.

Upon seeing this, the receptionist snorted and turned to do other things.

When she walked to the street, Jessica's mind was still a mess, and she felt her heart was torn apart.

Tomorrow was the day when she would get married, but Jessica had never dreamed that her fiancé would have hooked up with her cousin Flora Blake. Thinking of their two naked bodies entangled, Jessica felt herself almost out of breath with nausea.

Baldie was her fiance, the man she had loved for three years. Jessica thought he was a gentleman, but he turned out to be a hypocrite.

Jessica thought that Baldie Abbott acted very gentlemanly to her during the past six months since their engagement because he respected her, but it turned out that she had been thinking too much.

"Jessica, Jessica, you are a complete fool! If he really loves you, how could he not want to be intimate with you? But you praised him as a gentleman!"

She raised her head and laughed sarcastically. She was angry that she was betrayed by her favorite and closest people.

"Baldie, we are getting married tomorrow. How could you do this to me? I trusted you so much---"

Jessica's tears shed uncontrollably, and there was nothing sadder than the betrayal of a loved one. If Baldie were fooling around with a stranger woman, she might not have been so angry.

But Flora Blake was her cousin! Her uncle's daughter! How could the two of them have the nerve to do such a shameless thing?

What was she supposed to do when they betrayed her? What about tomorrow's wedding?

If it weren't for her sudden decision to go to Baldie's company on a whim to discuss with him the details of tomorrow's wedding, maybe Jessica would never know about their affair at all.

Jessica suddenly felt nauseous in her stomach and rushed to the trash can on the road to throw up. Unexpectedly, she was a step late and vomited outside the trash can.

She didn't expect that things between men and women would seem so disgusting.

"Hey! Miss! You vomited on our car!" There came a man's displeased voice, and Jessica looked up.

Only then did she realize that her vomitus was splashed on someone's car, and she couldn't help but blush, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Let me clean it up for you!" As she spoke, she was going to take out a tissue to wipe the car.

"Nestor, don't waste time with a meaningless woman. Let's go!" Just as Jessica knelt to wipe the car, she heard the cold and disgusted voice of another man.

At the same time, Jessica clearly felt a disgusted gaze, and the man's sharp gaze was so intense that it couldn't be ignored.

Jessica squinted her eyes subconsciously, but she only saw a black tall figure getting in the car in the blink of an eye.

At the moment when the car door closed, Jessica could only see his hawk-like eyes. He was looking at her coldly, which made her scalp tingle. Before she could react, he slammed the door shut. The sound was startling, and Jessica was taken aback.

Although she didn't see his whole face, his eyes looked domineering and arrogant!
