Oscar opened the door and entered noisily which alert everyone in the room.

“you can't do anything again, she already signed the documents,” Mr. Matthew said to him and pack the files before he could reach them, then he walk out of the room with the lawyer leaving her alone with her enemy

“hum-hum good morning” she mange to say.

“It's twelve now,” he said sarcastically and sat down in front of her then continue to stare at her without any word

“I really don’t know about this, I just signed those because…” she was saying but Oscar cut her short

“I didn’t ask you anything,” he said and continue staring at her

“but you are going to dig a hole in my body with your eyes”

“what about your dad?” he said instead.

“I don’t have one except for my step-dad” she replied.

“do you really want to continue living in the same house with me?” he asked again

“no I don’t have to live there, I will just move out of the house and get a place of my own”

“do you read the document you signed very well?”

“what about it? Do I have to live in the same house with you?” Joyce asked alarmed.

“Just tell Mr. Matthew you are not interested and hand over your shares, I will give you enough money to sustain you, or better still you can go back abroad,” he said. Joyce keep quiet and look at him doubtingly

“Why? You are greedy and don’t want to leave anymore? You are always trying to prove that you are not a gold digger so prove it with this and I will believe you” he said confidently and made to leave.

“Why should I do that?” Joyce suddenly said and he halt in his steps surprised

“What do you mean?”

“Why should I give up everything just because you wanted me to? You said you are not my family and also everyone already labeled me as a gold digger so why should I give up the thing that makes me one?” she said and also stood up.

“if you are not satisfied with dad’s decision then you should probably talk with Mr. Matthew she said and walk past him outside. When she got out, she release a long breath before entering her car and drove off

“whoa Joyce, good one,” she said to herself. So now she has something that the great Oscar wants from her but she is not going to let him get it easily not after what he has made her go through for the past four years at least she wants him to apologize and ask nicely. Joyce decides to first go out for some shopping before heading back home and after one month she will sign everything back to his name.

Oscar kick away everything around him angrily after Joyce left. He was so angry with his father for what he did, why on earth will he do something so stupid just to make him like a step-sister he barely lived with her mother. His secretary Jerry came in and try to calm him down

“Boss, Miss Joyce already left the company, why don’t you calm down first and think of what we can do to get everything back from her later, besides it's just for a period of three years,” he said and start to put the things back in their place.

“When is the time scheduled for the major shareholder meeting?” he asked him and get ready to leave.

“it has been canceled” he replied but Oscar wasn’t surprised at all, it was definitely Mr. Matthew’s decision.

“another day has been fixed for that and he said to totally on stabilizing the company” Jerry continued and Oscar threw the car keys to him then they both exit out of the office and Oscar instruct him to take him to one of his friend bar in the middle of the city. Immediately the car stopped, Oscar could hear sounds of music and everywhere bubbling. He made his way inside leaving Jerry to wait for him in the car. Lane sighted him immediately and quickly walk over to him signaling to the D.J to lower the volume of the music

“whoa! Am surprised you have the time to stop by my bar in the middle of the day. Shouldn't you be at the shareholder’s meeting or something?”

“enough of your talk, where is the wine I reserved?” Oscar asked instead and make his way into a room at the far end of the bar while Lane give instructions to one of his waiters to send in the wine he reserved then followed Oscar and the two entered the room almost at the same time

“seems something is wrong? Why? Did she refuse to hand it over?” he asked guessing the source of his unhappiness. He sat beside him and when Oscar didn’t alter a word, he knows that his guess must be true

“I told you she won't want to give it up easily, who in their sane mind will get such big fortune and give it up to some guy who always annoys and maltreats her”

“I did not” Oscar snapped at him angrily

“you did not what? Maltreat her or annoy her which one?” Oscar ignore him and the waiter entered and place the drink in front of them and made to open it but Lane wave him away and he left instantly. Lane took the wine and opened it himself then poured Oscar a glass

“I thought you said the will state that unless she signs it willingly in the presence of everyone then you can't get it so why don’t you just use the honey trap for her” Lane suggested. Oscar was about to drink his wine when he heard what Lane said.

“honey trap?”

“yes, make her fall head over heels for you. Am sure you can make that happen in just one week and the poor girl will sign those documents before you know it”

“are you crazy? She is my step sister” Oscar yelled at him

“so what? You are both not related by blood at all and both your parents that formed the relationship between you are dead so there is no relationship between the both of you”

“what you are saying isn't funny and it's stupid, whatever it is you are telling me to seduce my sister”

“what sister? You never considered her as one and always go on and on about how she is a gold digger”

“am not going to do something so stupid and lowly” Oscar replied making up his mind.

“common, you already did with her once so what is so hard about trying it again. She seduced you back in the State”

“and I told you not to ever talk about that,” he said getting really angry

“sorry but it's true. She made a fool of you years back and then her mum was married to your dad and now she is inheriting the only thing that has the memories of your mum” Oscar kept quiet and gulp the glass of wine in his hand then pour himself another one

“I don’t care but am not doing it, it's against all values”

“dude, am not asking you to sleep with her just be nice and show her some love. It depends on your acting”

“shut up!” Oscar snapped at him and left the room not listening to Lane as he tried to apologize but he didn’t want to hear any more of his nonsense. He got back to the car and got in then instructed Jerry to drive straight home. The drive to the house was taking longer than usual and Oscar closed his eyes for a few minutes.
