At first, it was Fang Panpan who told jokes, making Qin Yu laugh all the time.

Later on, when jokes alone were not enough, Fang Panpan pulled Wen Tian along to perform a skit, making Qin Yu watch with delight.

Wen Qian and Pei Shaomu also came over every day.

They smiled every day and talked to Qin Yu about family matters.

For example, Wen Qian's work was getting better and better, and Pei Shaomu's company was doing better and better.

Qin Yu was happy to hear this.

One day, Bai Xiaoru also came.

As soon as she reached the door of the ward, she heard the sound of laughter.

Bai Xiaoru was stunned and then looked in.

She saw Fang Panpan, in a yellow wig, saying something in a colourful way, while Qin Yu was leaning on Wen Tian's shoulder, laughing.

Bai Xiaoru's heart fluttered with joy.

Why was everyone so happy? Could it be that Qin Yu's condition had improved?

Bai Xiaoru couldn't wait to pull Fang Panpan out of the ward after she had gone in to say a few words.

Fang Panpan's head was covered with a wig and she looked ridiculous.

Bai Xiaoru couldn't wait to ask, "Panpan, why were you all laughing? Is Xiaoyu getting well? Is it possible for her to live?"

Fang Panpan shook her head.

She said, "No! Xiaoyu's remaining days are numbered."

Bai Xiaoru's eyes went black.

Although she had already accepted this fact, she just mistakenly thought there was hope. It turned out to be nothing, which really upset her.

Bai Xiaoru said with red eyes, "When I came here and saw how happy you all were, I thought there was a hope."

Bai Xiaoru couldn't speak, and tears were falling from her eyes.

Fang Panpan hugged Bai Xiaoru and she said, "Xiaoru, I know it's hard for you, but it's been so long, we should accept the reality."

Bai Xiaoru bit her lips tightly.

Yes!

It had been so long, it was time to accept the reality!

But she just couldn't accept it.

Qin Yu!

What a good girl, what a young life!

How could she be gone!

How could God be so cruel!

Of all the bad people, God didn't take anyone but Qin Yu's life!

"You know, Xiaoru, I also thought she was getting better, because although Xiaoyu was getting thinner and thinner, her spirits were getting better and her eyes were getting brighter. I really thought her condition was improving. I even went to the doctor."

"So how can we hold Xiaoyu back! Since we are Xiaoyu's friends, we have to be brave like her too! Otherwise we wouldn't even be worthy of being called her friends!"

These words of Fang Panpan shook Bai Xiaoru.

Bai Xiaoru's eyes rippled, and after a moment, she suddenly clenched her fists and said, "Panpan, you're right, we have to be brave too! Since Xiaoyu is so brave, as her friends, we can't hold her back!"
