She gritted her teeth and caressed Ava’s face. Ava’s soul had no idea how much loath Zara had for her. She smirked at herself and again splashed water on her face in disgust and went straight to her bed. That night, she didn’t even care to go downstairs to have dinner and her family began to assume that she was madly thinking about Liam by shutting herself in her room while the reality was that she was loathing over her face and the one who owned it!!!

The whole night she couldn’t sleep even for a second when the incidents in Liam’s house crossed her mind. His mother was research on ancient history and she might have really good knowledge on the existence of supernatural species in the world and that meant that she had instincts which had the ability to link situations to one or the other.

“Why did I feel the scent on her hair to be quite familiar?” she had no control in her thoughts which were mainly focused on Liam and his mother and this was the worst day of her human life which had triggered her past memories. As they popped up, what affected her emotions was the feeling of missing her own body. How could a person live in the body of someone else forever?? And Zara’s soul had no idea till when would she be going like this as whenever she changed her thought to giving up her revenge, a vengeful side of hers never let her do that and things went on without a destiny....

Because of not sleeping in the night, Ava had no energy left in her to go to the high-school the next day nor she wanted to meet Liam. Going to high-school literally meant meeting him and spending time with him which she couldn’t afford for one. He had already made his influence on her and if she let him take over her heart completely, it would result in the worst case and there was no way Ava ever wanted that to happen!!!

“Ain’t you waking up sissy?” Jammy stormed into the room to wake up Ava who had buried herself in her bed sheet.

“Get you ass off my bed Jam. I’m in no mood to go anywhere today" she slanged at him in a sleepy tone and Jammy went back downstairs in a puffed-up face.

“Where’s your sister?” it was the first time James was seeing Jammy come downstairs alone as Ava had never missed a day in school ever since her first day at school.

“Your daughter is love sick I guess. She doesn’t have a mood to attend school today. Guess, I’ll have to go alone" Jammy sulked and unwantedly had his breakfast and went to the school alone.

“That’s a first. Is she really sick?” Lela was appalled to know the change in her daughter’s behaviour and James decided to look into the matter.

“Get lost Jam" Ava yelled at James thinking him to be Jammy when he came upstairs and knocked on her door.

“I’m James, you dad sweetheart" James chuckled as he entered the room and Ava cringed at her own words.

“Sorry dad. Thought it was him" she apologized like a daddy’s good girl and James sat on her bed ad Ava leaned herself back to the bed knowing her dad wanted to talk to her

“It’s okay. Tell me, what has gotten into you that you decided to skip school today?” James calmed asked her in a casual friendly tone and Ava sighed, feeling his warmth from everywhere.

“Nothing dad. I was just not feeling good" she put on a dull smile and lied to her dad and she never knew how much he knew his daughter more than she knew herself.

“Maybe you don’t realize I’m someone who has seen you grow up. I know when my kids begin to start your teenage life" he directly came to the point and Ava heart was too fragile to take in dad’s love.

In ever birth, she was blessed with a chance of taking her revenge but along with that, in every of her rebirths, she was blessed with a father who showered his love on her like her own father Williams. That was one of the rare things that gave her a positive reason to complete her birth!!

“Dad. I’m fine. It’s just I need a break from being the good girl everyone sees in me" she smiled genuinely and so did James who caressed her hair like a monkey’s.

“Have you got crush on him?” James teasingly smiled at Ava who was taken aback by his tease.

“Dad. Stop" the moment she heard her dad’s tease, she blushed and tried to brush it off her face.

“Yeah, I see it clearly on your face" he again poked her mercilessly and she blushed more and waked up from the bed to hid her face from him. Geez, she was unable to control her blushing when the face with the blue eyes flashed on her mind. She was addicted to those blue eyes!!!!

“There’s nothing like that. I just don’t want that to effect me in any way" the blushing and all git down her head and seriousness struck in.

“I know you gave a set goal for your life and relationships are not on your list now. But love, you need to take in a breath and enjoy life as it is" James began to make her understand the need to free herself from pressure he thought she was taking on herself.

“No dad. That’s not what it is. I need time for all that" she tried her best to put a full stop to that conversation because she never wanted to lie to her father. The bond she shared with his aura was infinite and it would be a sin she was committing by lying to him!!!

“I guess I know what your need. You want a forever relation and fear that teenage love won’t last long" he quickly found another reason and that was a good excuse for her to hang on. She turned towards him with an amazed look and at first James wasn’t sure if his guess was right but when she sat with him and held his hands with an amused smile, he believed his guess to be true. That’s what she also wanted!!!

“Yes. That’s the issue. You know I want to go to Harvard and I’m not gonna let heartbreaks and all be a hurdle in that" she hung onto that excuse and James laughed hard at her because it was just a silly thing she was focusing on.

“My child, do you know how your mom and I met?” he laughingly asked her and she nodded.

Yes, how couldn’t she know her own parent’s love story? They had met in university and fell in love at first sight but dad got a job in another state and had to leave for that. At first, both tried to manage their long-distance relationship but as dad’s work stress increased, he couldn’t handle anything and that ked to them breaking up. But their love was not so weak and when dad got to know that she was getting engaged to someone else, he gave up his stressful job and decided to talk to mom’s parents who were convinced of his love for her and they ended up getting married.

“Yep, how could you ask me, your first child that?” She skeptically asked him and he placed his palms on her face.

“You know all that and I know it very well. But do you know how we managed to find our lost love back?” he asked her and she didn’t know the answer of that.

“I wasn’t an architect before I married your mother. When we git back together, the first thing I did was to study architecture to be on the same work field as your mother so that we could have a long time together” he confessed his love story’s practical part and she was stunned hearing that.

“Why did you never tell us that?” she asked him in a tone of disbelief and he chuckled at it again. He was laughing a lot at her amazed look and she wasn’t liking it!!!

“what’s there to laugh so much?” she frowned and asked him.

“Because you look like a stunned possum" he broke into a heap of laughter and laughed it heart out but Ava was offended by his tease and took a pillow from the bed to hit him for the poke.

“Take that" she hissed at him and kept on beating him until she was done and he laid on her bed to get back his breath.

Whatever he was going to advice her was going to decide what her mind would choose in Liam’s case and Ava had no idea what was going to happen.......
