"The divorce rates has been increasing since the lockdown been imposed in the whole world and the most divorce cases are recorded in countries like USA , India , China and many other countries by far which is really not good because most of the cases are recorded in America where the rate is upto 50% , whereas in metropolitan cities like Mumbai in india is having the second most shocking number in the world

As according to an estimation around 22 divorce cases are filed everyday in Mumbai since the imposing of lockdown due to destructive Covid-19 pandemic ..."

The news plays in the background as Scarlett is busy in the kitchen with preparing Chris' favourite indian food for which he has been craving since they came back from India after a tour around 12 months back even before Covid-19 wasn't that big issue across the globe and suddenly she hears a bell

And she looks at the clock and not to her very much surprise it's 8:55 PM , So she opens the door and as usual sees her sweet husband Chris who seems very tired as usual after coming back from office and so she forwards her hand to take his bag and coat but instead of giving it to her like other days

He just enters inside the house even without uttering a single word which is quite weird but still she doesn't pays a lot attention to it because according to him Chris is very moody kind of person who is really unpredictable and so instead she closes the door and once again goes back to kitchen to cover things properly as she is already done with food making

And soon after covering the food , she settles on sofa and starts looking for something entertaining by surfing through remote and suddenly she stops on a music channel which is playing a song "Love me like you do"

And soon sees that Chris is standing before her with a paper in his hand and he hasn't even changed his clothes and before she could figure out anything suddenly Chris speaks while keeping that papers beside her on sofa

"I want divorce from you and this are the papers which you have to sign and hence we will be free from each other after you will do it because I have already signed it"

This sudden shock leaves Scarlett amazed and awestruck as well because she is unable to figure out of how she should react on such kind of action which is taken by Chris as it has been barely just one year since they got married after dating for almost 5 years after completing their graduation

And she just stands before he could speak anything further and ends up slapping him and leaves the sofa and goes into the kitchen to prepare something spicy after dinner , while Chris also follows her in the kitchen where she pours some corn on the frying pan and because of sudden and strong exposure to the heat and oil

It starts converting into popcorns along with flying out of the pan , because of which even without wasting a moment Chris runs towards Scarlett and wraps her to save her from flying popcorns which ultimately ends up wounding him as they are wet and hot

After which Scarlett puts off the gas stove and now starts slapping him once again only to be stopped by Chris as he holds her hands tightly while still hugging her , only to leave her when she finally gets calm

And suddenly she starts crying with a statement , "I won't tell you to stop drinking , I won't even stop you to flirt with your colleagues and I will not force you to even have baby , rather I will change myself according to you and become even more better than what I am right now , but please don't leave me as I cannot even think in my dreams to spend a day without you"

"Relax , relax and just take a deep breath or else you will fall sick and I really don't want that to happen , but anyways you have to sign the divorce papers even in the worst conditions because I have found someone else now and I am moving to New York forever with her and so I don't need you anymore..."

But before Chris could complete his sentence suddenly she ends up hitting him with a punch which leads to heavy bleeding from his lips and once again starts by pushing him , "I will do everything as you want , if you want we will have sex twice a week , but please don't do this to me as I can't bare it"

She tries to get out of the kitchen by completing her statement but suddenly Chris holds her tightly by waist and picks her up while she tries to oppose and reaches in the hall where the divorce papers are kept and forces her to sign the papers by throwing her on sofa on which she was sitting a while ago

In process of which she picks the vase kept on the table and ends up hitting him because of which he falls unconscious , only to wake up after an hour and see that he is lying on the sofa whereas Scarlett is sitting quietly on the dining table and even before she could realise that he is back to his senses

Chris goes to her and catches her by hair while stretching her legs by standing behind her and throws the table away on which she was sitting few moments ago and puts pen and divorce papers before her and again repeats the same statement to sign the papers and on her opposition

He takes knife from the fruit bowl kept in the middle of the dining table and ends up scratching his left arm with it after leaving Scarlett
