Chapter 13 Wrong Room
At the club, the manager opened Room 501 for them. Nora and others were dining in Room 502.
"Mommy, I want to use the bathroom." A replete Randy wanted to pee and tugged his mother's hand.
"I'll take you there." Emery noticed that Nora had been feeding Randy and hadn't eaten much herself.
Therefore, she volunteered for the job so that Nora could take the time to eat something.
"Okay, Mommy, stay here, I'll go with my godmother." Randy sweetly pursed his lips, kissed his mother on the cheek, and then happily grabbed Emery's hand.
"Sure, go ahead, I won't be a third wheel." Nora shook her head with a smile and let them go with ease.
"Alright, let's go, Randy." Emery took her cosmetic bag and led the boy out.
Nora watched them with a smile and then continued with her meal.
Emery took Randy to the restroom, powdered her nose, and waited for him outside.
Though only 2.5 years old, the boy was sensible and clever enough to use the bathroom alone.
"Emery? Oh my, could I have your autograph? I'm a die-hard fan of yours."
Emery was applying lipstick when two voices interrupted her.
"Thanks, sure!" Emery didn't expect to meet her fans at such a place. Out of professional ethics, she smiled politely and gave them her autographs.
"Emery... Emery is here..." Someone suddenly shouted, which attracted a lot of attention. In no time, people swarmed over.
"Godmother..." Randy pulled up his pants, came out, and saw a crowd.
Unsure of what was going on, he looked around, but Emery was nowhere to be seen.
"Emery, I like you so much... Can I have your autograph?"
"Emery..."
The scene was so noisy that Emery didn't hear Randy's shouting.
In Randy's view, Emery had gone back to the booth. Without further ado, he walked back.
At the doors of Room 501 and Room 502, Randy froze as he forgot their room number.
"Never mind, according to Brook, he can always come out of a wrong room."
Randy tried his luck with Room 501 and knocked on the door.
"Rat-tat... rat-tat..." The Foleys were celebrating when there came a sudden knock.
"Whose guest is this?" Colt looked wonderingly at Josh who shook his head, Wyatt who showed an indifferent face, and Maria who looked equally curious.
"Not sure, the waiter maybe, I'll get the door." Since they all shook their heads, Maria stood up and volunteered to answer the door.
"Mommy..." Randy showed up in front of everybody.
He thought it was his mother who opened the door for him, but a pretty girl came into view.
"Maria, why did he call you mommy?"
