Chapter 4 Going to M Country

"Zoe, I'll be on a trip recently and want to take my mother's necklace with me. Exercise caution in White's house, I'll call you when I come back."

Nora didn't tell Zoe her destination. The more she knew, the more worried she would be.

"Okay, Miss, take care, here you are, keep it safe."

The housekeeper watched Nora grow up and treated her like her own daughter. Only her status was low, and she had no say in White's house.

She could only secretly work for Nora and take care of her.

"Mm, Zoe, take care. It's getting late. I should go."

Nora took the casket with the necklace in and hugged Zoe.

Emery then rode her to the airport and bought a ticket for the fastest flight to M Country.

"Time to board the plane, remember to visit me!" Nora planned to go empty-handed.

Before parting, Emery bought her a new phone, a suitcase, and a lot of clothes.

"Sure, I will, keep in touch." Emery nodded, found it hard to part from her friend, and watched Nora enter the departure gate.

Before boarding the plane, Nora bound her bank card to her cell phone and transferred money to Emery.

Even reckoning made long friends. Courtesy demanded reciprocity.

On the new phone, she only had one contact: Emery. It was not bad since she could enjoy some time being alone.

One day later, Nora arrived in M Country and found a hotel to check in.

Then she texted Emery about her safe trip, took a shower, went to bed, and planned to find her grandpa's house tomorrow following the address left by her mother.

In a foreign country, she dreamed of the events in her previous life. Levi deceived her, and she lost her mother's inheritance.

She woke up with a start, her forehead covered with sweat. After opening the curtains, she saw broad daylight outside.

Still dizzy, she thought for a while, decided to get out of bed, and went to the bathroom to wash up.

When everything was ready, she dragged the suitcase to hail a taxi and headed to the address left by her mother.

In front of her erected a magnificent villa, much bigger than the one she lived in Z Country. After double-checking the address, she rang the doorbell.

Dingdong... Dingdong... the doorbell rang. Then she heard clear approaching footsteps.

"Hello?" A man in his 50s opened the door. He looked gracious and asked Nora kindly.

"I'm here to see Andrew Conway. Does he live here?" Nora mentioned her grandfather's name that her mother once told her.

"Young lady, you know our old master? May I know your name?"

The old man looked at her in shock and somehow found her familiar. This matter should be handled discreetly.

"My name is Nora White, and my mother is Susan Conway." Nora introduced herself briefly and decently. Her mother's identity was also made clear.
