Chapter 20 Running into Dirty Things

Wesley stuck to the window, unable to tear his eyes away.

A girl entered the outer door, and a black dress packed up her curvy figure. Under the hem was a pair of long, slender legs. Her waist was slender, and she looked graceful in high heels.

The girl turned her head, seemingly looking for something. Her hair flung smartly in the air, and her pretty eyes were deadly attractive.

"Mr. Robbins, when did you import such high-end goods in your club?"

The black dress was the uniform of Edge Club.

Declan glanced over, "Not my employee."

Hailey got out of the elevator, entered the hall, and suddenly felt uncomfortable with the dazzling lights in the bar.

She looked around for Booth 888 that Sweet Dog sent her earlier.

She had asked the BD team to negotiate the deal. If it didn't go well, she would step in. Right now, she planned to meet Sweet Dog.

Hailey rarely came to places like bars and clubs; much less did she know that black dress was the uniform of Edge Club. It happened that the designs were similar.

Therefore, as soon as she showed up, she attracted fervent attention.

Hailey stumbled through the crowd and searched for Booth 888 when a man squeezed his way up.

"Gorgeous, care for a drink?"

A slippery middle-aged man blocked her way.

"Out of the way." Hailey took a cold glance at him.

Today she found every man disgusting.

"Eh, what's the rush? Have a drink with me, and I'll help with your business tonight. As a regular customer of Edge Club, I can give you a lot of benefits." The man held his wine and leered at her.

Sensing an implication, Hailey halted her steps and looked fixedly at the man.

Perhaps because she saw a hot guy in the elevator, she found this man offending to the eye.

"Looks like some dirty things crept out of the sewage and came here to pollute the air." She measured the man with mocking eyes, "Have a facelift; I may consider letting you polish my shoes."

Angered by her ridicule, the middle-aged man turned aggressive, "Aren't you just a whore? What are you proud of? Money talks here. I'll give you 20,000 yuan for one night."

"What did you say? Money talks here?" Hailey liked this rule and smiled.

The man thought that she had changed her mind and thus went nasty, "How about it? If you perform well in bed, I'll give you extra."

Hailey rolled her eyes, snatched the glass from his hand, and poured the wine over his head.

Drenched, ashamed, and enraged, he shouted abuse, "Bitch, stop faking it."

Irritated by the noisy ambiance, she hurled the glass at his ugly face, lifted her high heel, poked at his belly, and rotated her foot.

"Ow... ouch..."

The man squealed like a pig, his voice louder than the music. Everyone in the bar stopped moving and looked over.

Hailey gently lifted her foot and stepped on his ugly face. Pinned down, the man couldn't move a bit.

Hailey smartly opened the handbag limited edition around her shoulder, took out a checkbook, wrote down a string of numbers, tore the cheque off, and shook it.

Then she raised her eyes and looked around arrogantly.

"Here are half a million yuan, bring me 20 bottles of wine. As for the rest of the money, I'll buy everyone a drink."
