Chapter 11 Playing With Fire (Part I)

Camille looked up suddenly, revealing a face of deeper resentment than ever.

But her expression made Jade more pleased, "By the way, that retard always asks about you, crying for meeting you. The staff there spent a lot of effort to make him quiet. I also heard that you work for a perfume company and develop a project called 'Orchid,' right? With the hindrance of us and the Davis Family, do you think you can make it?"

"Camille, since no one cares about you in the world and you are nobody now, why haven't you finished yourself yet?"

Camille gritted her teeth, clenched her fists, and lowered her head to conceal her resentful expression.

Considering the safety of her brother, she suppressed her impulse to tear Jade and Will apart.

Except for that, Camille also understood that the angrier she looked, the happier they were.

While Camille tried to suppress her inner flame, Danny, whose eyes settled on Camille, caught every single change on her face. Though he could not hear what Jade said, he was aware that it was irritating. He gazed at Jade as if she was already dead.

Upon seeing Danny's cold look, Thomas took pity on Jade, who was likely to get into trouble.

But he did not want that to happen here.

To prevent the situation from worsening, Thomas suggested Camille, "Miss Davis, could you go first?"

The X Club's first floor was an open dance floor, which looked the same as other nightclubs.

Room 783, ordered by Danny, was not an ordinary but a VIP room reserved by Thomas. On the second floor of the club, its outer wall was a single-sided visible glass curtain, which enabled people inside to see the outside without those on the outside seeing the inside. The glass curtain offered the scene of the first floor and ensured the privacy of the room.

Camille did not know or care about the end of Jade's drama. She waited in Room 783 for a while, then Danny pushed the door open and entered with a sullen face.

Camille held her forehead with the back of her hand and watched him walk to sit down next to her.

Camille patted Danny's face and teased, "Little boyfriend."

Danny frowned, "How can you smell like being soaked in wine in such a short while."

At his words, the smile on Camille's face was bigger. She leaned over Danny, stretched her neck, and pointed at it with one finger, "Smell here."

The deep red face and the fair, slender neck consisted of an eye-catching picture, arousing Danny's celestial imagination.

With a surge of desire in his heart, Danny narrowed his eyes, "Are you sure?"

There was a hint of displeasure in his voice. Was he jealous of Will, who almost became her husband?

"Are you jealous?" Camille giggled. She took a mini bottle of perfume from her bag and sprayed it into the air, "Smell it."

The smell of alcohol pervaded the room.

"I see," Danny said.

A perfume smelled like alcohol. It was surprising how she had such an idea and made it.

Danny wondered, "Is there a market for this perfume, and what is it made for?"

Camille walked toward the glass wall and put her fingers on it. Pointing to the crowd indulging in the fun at the dance floor, she turned back to Danny and answered, "Made for doing whatever you want by pretending to be drunk."

On the dance floor, Will and Jade were dancing close to each other, drawing much attention.

Camille regretted, "I was so blind before that I did not find him repulsive."

It was obvious who she meant.

Danny stood behind Camille and asked, "Really? What was he like before?"

"He was..." Camille tilted her head to think. After seconds, she continued, "considerate?"

As word came out of her mouth, Camille could not help bursting out laughing.

Camille, in reality, was unclear what kind of person Will was. She chose Will before because he had a good background, helped ease the relationship between her and John, and appeared at the right timing.

How could she expect in the first place that Will was a tool of her father?

From his reactions on the first floor, Will was churlish and might even be a violent abuser. It must have been a tough job for him to play considerate and gentle in front of her.

Camille had never detected anything about their conspiracy. How stupid she was!
