Chapter 15 Intimate Scene, A Bit Shy

When the car pulled off, Jennifer put away her phone.

She got off with Ethan and looked at the entrance of a magnificent building, "Why are you taking me here?"

The only seven-star hotel in the city was compared to a sumptuous golden castle. It was also... owned by Ogden Group.

"To have lunch!" Ethan answered, grabbed her hand, and led her into a booth.

The supreme VIP booth was decorated with her favorite elegant flowers. A faint fragrance pervaded the air and smelt like the sea breeze. Jennifer took a deep breath and felt refreshed.

The hotel manager knocked on the door, came in, and handed the menu to Jennifer respectfully at Ethan's signal.

She took the hint and ordered big dishes in the pictures.

"We'd also like to have classic dishes!" Ethan said in his naturally icy voice.

"No problem, sir, they'll be ready in a moment!" The manager obeyed respectfully.

"Serve the dishes in half an hour!" Ethan added.

The manager nodded again and went out.

Jennifer was sensitive enough to catch his implication, "We have company? Who?"

"You'll know in a minute!" Ethan didn't want to reveal it.

Instead of pressing, Jennifer waited quietly and enjoyed the lake view. When the breeze brushed past her face, her hair fluttered and her heart felt much at ease.

Finally... she overcame the surprise of the marriage certificate. Now she had another identity: Ethan's wife.

She was a married woman from now on.

At that, she chuckled.

Attracted by her laughter, Ethan walked up and naturally threw his arms around her waist from behind, "What is it? You're so happy."

Ethan pressed his cheek against hers and asked.

His actions were so intimate.

"Nothing, it just occurred to me that March 8 is coming soon. Starting this year, I'll celebrate Women's Day and no more Girls' Day." Jennifer answered in a bland voice.

She spoke like a cute child.

Ethan held her more tightly, "In other words... we'll celebrate our anniversary and Valentine's Day every year, and you're free to ask me for anything."

"Oh, can't I have gifts other than those days?" Jennifer deliberately changed her tone.

"You sure can!" Ethan lowered his lips to her, "Not only the anniversary, we'll celebrate our silver and golden wedding!"

Golden wedding! 50 years!

Would their marriage last that long?

She... didn't have the slightest faith in it.

"Mm... after the golden wedding, it should be the diamond wedding!" Ethan said expectantly and pressed his lips against hers.

Just then, the booth door was pushed open.

Embarrassed by the scene, Daphne apologized, "Guys, sorry to disturb you. Well... I'll wait outside till you finish it."

"Nonsense." Jennifer blushed slightly, pushed the man away, and walked to her sister.

Turned out their company was Daphne!

He invited Daphne here without her knowledge.
