Ruby's eyes swiveled as she was implying something.

"Take it easy; she's just an ordinary maid. You're here today, and I don't want her dirty look to tarnish your eyes." Karl threw his arm around her waist and said gently.

Donna passed by and happened to hear it.

His words struck her heart like a sharp blade.

She bit her lip to restrain her anger.

But he tarnished her chastity.

"What are you waiting for? Go!" Mia urged irritably.

Donna also wanted to get out of there and thus immediately followed the forewoman to leave.

Ruby didn't suspect anything but walked into the villa with Karl hand in hand.

In the dressing room...

"Hurry up and change; you'll serve mister and Miss Perez to have dinner later. Don't be an eyesore!" Mia threw a maid's outfit to her and instructed impatiently.

Donna fumed. If this was in the past, she should have argued strongly on just grounds. Now under such a situation, she couldn't do anything except accepting and enduring it humbly.

Then Mia turned to leave but looked back at the door, "And, put away that sullen face!"

"Argh..." Before Donna could lose her temper, the forewoman walked away.

Without a choice, she had to change into clean clothes.

In the hall...

"Karli, how are the sprouts I brought here? They should have grown up, right?"

"How about I take you there for a look?" Karl suggested.

In fact, he didn't know, either. He had never paid attention to such trivial things.

"Donna? Who is Donna?" Ruby asked with a sullen face.

Standing by the side, Karl pulled a long face.

"Get her here!" He took a glance at the maid and instructed coldly.

The maid hurriedly turned around and rushed off to call Donna.

She was almost dragged there by two maids.

She stood there nervously in front of Karl and Ruby.

"You spoiled my flowers?" Ruby's squeal came into her ears.

"Sorry, Miss Perez, I didn't mean to but accidentally fell, and..." Donna sighed and apologized.

"And you crushed my flowers?" Ruby was pissed, "I brought them back from abroad. They're not available in our country and have been carefully cultivated. Somehow, your clumsy body crushed them?"
