Two people are walking in the front yard, they seem to be close but yet they are very distant.

Emilia walked silently towards the front door but Ryan stooped her and asked her to take a walk with him. They both are very silent.

It's almost 7 so the sky is dark and. Filled with stars, it's Summer so the moon is shining brightly.

Emilia and Ryan both sat down on the chairs in the front yard garden.

" you said there is something important about the business you want to talk about, " Emilia said indifferently looking at the flowers in the garden.

" Are you still friends with Alice Johnson?" Ryan asked Emilia.

Seeing Ryan asking about alive Emilia expression changed but she covered it quickly " did he know about it? But I'm so careful there's no way he could find out about it"

" Nope! But I heard that he is taking after Johnson's group, but why do you ask? Emilia knitted her eyebrows.

"Well our friend might outbid us from Island project," Ryan said while carefully looking at emilias expression.

" We submitted our reports, what can we do it's up to the board to decide who gets the project," Emilia said without a flicker of change in her face.

" yeah! I thought that too but it seems that our scandal outburst and immediate marriage had some impact on that and they are trying to give the project to Johnson's group" Ryan said.

" what's our personal life got to do with the project? Are they crazy" Emilia almost shouted.

" that's what I thought but it seems that they are thinking our condition is unstable to manage that project, so they are considering our friend," Ryan said.

Emilia thought for a while, Ryan didn't understand what she is thinking.

" Then I think we have to snatch it from our friend," Emilia said coldly.

" thank God! She still cares about others' feelings" Ryan sighed a breath of relief.

" how about we both resubmit the reports not separately but together, if we get the project we will share an equal amount of profits?" Emilia said while Ryan is still thinking.

" Okay then, let's call our teams tomorrow, and made them resubmit the reports and we have to announce this news to the public" Ryan spoke while sending a text to liam.

"I will ask Lisa to notify my team, they will arrange the press conference tomorrow until then this news should be kept secretly otherwise people will take this as damage control" Emilia spoke.

" Okay! Let's head back it's somewhat cold outside" Ryan stood up.

They both silently walked towards the mansion. After entering the mansion lady su came directly towards Emilia and asked her what dishes she should prepare.

Emilia asked her to gather all the staff " you don't have to be here 24hours, just come during day time and clean the house and complete the rest of the works and leave "

" lady su, please come in the morning and cook for us you can go after preparing dinner in the evening," Emilia said to the housekeeper.

Ryan already left and took the shower, later he went to study to take care of the project.

Emilia freshened up a little and changed into her gym attire and went to the gym on the third floor.

Ryan after finishing his work came out from the study and found that there's no one in the house and it's completely silent.

He went up to look for Emilia. When he saw her on thread mill sweating profusely he thought " why is she so beautiful even while sweating like that, does she have to control everything even her body shape what a control freak".

He went there and removed his t-shirt and started cycling. Seeing Ryan half-naked emilias heart started beating fast, there's a desire starting in her body.

She turned off the machine and left. After going into the bedroom she took a cold shower to control her desire.

Ryan came back and he took a shower and came out with a towel around his waist at this time Emilia is sitting in front of the mirror and drying her hair.

" she is still in her bathrobe, on seeing her Ryan felt hot and his lower body started twitching".

" Emilia" Ryan came huskily towards her she stood up. Ryan immediately pressed his lips towards and soon the peck turned into a passionate kiss and they both fell on the bed.
