Chapter 2 You Stained My Car

Upon seeing the man in the car, President Wood instantly muted his mouth and swallowed his bad language.

The previously arrogant expression on his face was gone. Instead, there was an apparent shock in his eyes, and his lips were shaking. It seemed that he would drop on his knees at any time.

He then said in a trembling voice, "Mr. Lloyd?"

The other man maintained motionless, his slightly furrowed brows representing his impatience.

President Wood hurried to flatter the man by saying, "Sorry to have bothered you, Mr. Lloyd. I didn't know that you're in the car. I shouldn't have tried to teach that person a lesson here to contaminate your sight."

Mr. Lloyd's expression was standoffish and cold. It seemed that President Wood meant nothing but a speck of dirt in his eyes.

He simply ignored the other man.

Though there were many bodyguards standing around President Wood, his vibe was way weaker than that of Mr. Lloyd.

However, being turned a shoulder upon, President Wood still had to bow and scrape in front of the other man.

"Fuck off!"

The man's voice was frosty, and his tone was irresistible.

Feeling relieved, President Wood instantly instructed his subordinates with his eyes to drag Brenda away with them.

Brenda let out a scream.

She had been watching President Wood being embarrassed by the other man and did not realize that she had missed a precious chance to flee until those bodyguards pounced on her again.

"Mr. Lloyd, help. Please help." In a moment of desperation, Brenda hurried to rush over to the light golden Bugatti.

The woman did not know Mr. Lloyd. However, judging from President Wood's attitude towards him, she had seen him as her lifeline.

She tried hard to grip a part of the vehicle, and there were apparent blue veins in her hands due to the strength she had put forth.

Those bodyguards ferociously twisted the woman's hands, and the pain and fear made Brenda scream constantly.

The man in the car eventually furrowed his delicate brows.

He opened his thin lips to say, "Enough."

His icy tone indicated that his patience had run out.

Instantly, President Wood's legs went weak, daring not to continue making a scene in front of the other man.

"Let go of her," said President wood to his subordinates. Then, he bowed his head at the man in the car. "Sorry, Mr. Lloyd. We will get out of here right now."

With that, President Wood turned to leave with an unwilling glance at Brenda.

Brenda gasped for breath, adjusting her broken clothes. After regaining her composure, she said to the man in a soft voice, "Mr. Lloyd, thank you for having saved me."

For a good while, the man did not make a reply to her.

Brenda quietly lifted her eyes to look at the man and saw that he was staring at her body.

The woman's broken clothes could not conceal her shining complexion and inviting figure at all.

With an obscure look in his eyes, the man kept his mouth shut.

Brenda wondered if the man before her eyes would do something nasty to her as well.

And his powerful aura made her even want to submit herself to him.

Brenda shivered all over, intending to get out of the place immediately.

At this moment, the man opened his mouth.

"You stained my car."

The man's voice was magnetic, yet there were evident coldness and arrogance in his words.

Being startled, Brenda lifted her head to look at the man's kingly handsome face.

There was vague brilliance flashing across his deep-set eye sockets as if he had seen through Brenda.

Also, there were hints of disdain in his eyes.

He did not mean to save the woman.

In fact, he just did not want President Wood and the "whore" to contaminate his vehicle.

As if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her head, Brenda's overflowing gratitude instantly turned to self-mockery.

She clenched her broken clothes, intending to fight back.

Just then, the Bugatti's engine made a mellow magnetic sound, and then, the car dashed out.

Brenda wanted to say that she was not a woman like President Wood had stigmatized. However, the man did not give her a chance to open her mouth.

She was so furious that she almost blacked out.

Mr. Lloyd had actually bought President Wood's words! How stupid he was! It was simply useless of him to have such a handsome face!
