Chapter 18 10 Million RMB for Endorsement
After getting out of the conference room, Chynna went to the campus by herself again and walked around for some time to sober her mood.
The message sound of her cellphone rang. Chynna took the phone out and saw that it was Lily Chase saying, "Chynna, where are you? I've been looking for you everywhere. Congratulations. The Bulcheri Group pronounced you to be their endorser."
Who cared for that crappy endorsement!
Chynna didn't even want to reply to this provocative message, so she simply turned off her phone.
She didn't know what she had done provoked this man who had taken her virginity by force three years ago and kept haunting her till now. Now he even came to her school to choose some damn endorser!
When it got dark, Chynna finally felt a little less angry and was ready to go back, but on her way out of the school, Chynna saw a long black Lincoln parked in front of the school.
A man in a black suit stepped out of the car. It was Joshua's assistant Marshall Scott.
Marshall smiled formally, "Hello, Miss Jewell, I am Mr. Baker's assistant. Congratulations on you for becoming the endorser of Bulcheri Jewels. I would like to inform you to go to the Bulcheri Group to sign the contract tomorrow. Also, the endorsement fee is set at 10 million temporarily. What do you think of it?"
10 million, huh? As a student of the Film Academy, Chynna was fully aware that 500,000 was the current endorsement fee for a newcomer at the most.
A price as high as 10 million was enough to hire a popular movie star!
Offering her ten million dollars? Chynna thought with a sarcastic smile on her lips, "Joshua, you think money is capable of buying everything, but I don't care a dime about it."
Chynna looked at Marshall straightly into his eyes with a glow of lucidity in her black eyes.
Chynna said word for word, "Go tell your boss. I'm not endorsing any product of Bulcheri Jewels. I don't care how much money he offers me. Whether it's a hundred million or more, I don't care about his stinking money."
After she finished her words, Chynna walked away without looking back.
Ever since Marshall became Joshua's assistant, he had seen numerous women going after Mr. Baker, trying to seduce him and win his favor. It was the first time that a woman rejected Mr. Baker like this. How amazing it was!
Marshall looked at Chynna's departing back in trance. He felt it was unbelievable that this woman just turned down Mr. Baker!
So many disturbing things happened today, so Chynna planned to go to her sister's place in the evening to have a casual chat to express her sullenness.
She went to her sister's neighborhood and bought some pineapples which her sister loved the most.
At the door, Chynna rang the doorbell.
The door opened, and an old but respectable face appeared. It was Mrs. Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson had been working as a maid for the Jewell family since she was young, and the two girls grew up right before her eyes.
After Chynna's parents passed away, she also came to live with Chynna's uncle, but the aunt and the cousin gave her a hard time, saying that it was a waste of money for the orphan sisters to have a maid.
Mrs. Wilson was also a tough woman. She continued taking care of the two girls for free.
Since she was an extra maid doing the housework for free, Chynna's aunt finally gave her consent.
Later on, when Farrah got married, Chynna did not want Mrs. Wilson to suffer anymore from her aunt and cousin, so she asked Mrs. Wilson to follow and take care of her sister in her new home.
Usually, Mrs. Wilson would beam with a bright smile when she saw Chynna coming, but now Mrs. Wilson was wearing a long face.
An ominous feeling suddenly dawned on Chynna.
